I was about halway back and to be honest the action scenes with transformations and fighting etc. were just a horrid blur of colour on the massive screen. I wished at the time that I'd just gone to a regular cinema. Don't think there was anything extra beacue I was in there for exactly 2 and a half hours, but the forrest scene was done on full iMax size. Not sure about anything at the end, I didn;t really notice.
That is my fear The last one I had already seen it four times, so I had the battles down then on the big screen it was confusing even for me! But the scene at the telescope with optimus' speech was amazing the detail really came out on them, but fighting was a negative.
this is what I fear I am taking my parents tonight to the IMAX screening and I have no problem with the action scenes when I saw it on the standard screen because I had good seats But in IMAX, I am worried the action, especially in the forest fight might be ONE BIG BLUR and silver mess.
Hi, To the people who are seeing it in imax, can you let us know what you think when you get back? Thanks
Saw it and loved it! Although I saw it first on a regular sized screen. I know the forest fight scene was extended, but that's all that jumped out at me. Seems like there might have been some additional 'beauty shots' of Devastator right after he combinded, but not sure. Personally, I thought the fight scenes were clearer and cleaner in Imax. The larger size made it easier to follow.
Awesome I also read you liked it better the second time in the other forum, thanks man I am quite excited to see it now!
IMAX was awesome. I thought at least parts of the final battle were shot in IMAX because I thought I saw the pyramid taking up the entire screen as Devastator was tearing it apart; I could be mistaken though. I'd also recommend sitting farther in the back; I was around the middle as well and the fighting and transforming scenes disoriented me at first. I really liked it though. I'd go see it there again, though I'll sit farther back next time.
i should really go and see it at our imax screen its the largest screen in the world and its here in one of the smallest countrys in the world i saw the dark knight on it
i got the last row in the imax, and i was at the imax in the museum that was featured in the movie [smithsonian air an space] only full screen shots was the forest fight, i saw the movie on regular screen as well before
