I don't want to sound negative but:

Is this what constitutes Transformer appearances in the film now, just sticking a Clan logo on a vechicle? Granted he forms part of Devastator but still...

Seems to be more like a Komatsu HD456-7 Articulated Dump Truck:

The body angling below the headlights, the ladders, and sloped cabin window seem to match up.

I just looked at the higher resolution pictures of the Legends Devastator and the way Overload is used for the body is :
The front part with 4 wheels is split in half and the legs connect to them so the legs can be quite apart. The long part of Overload serves as the backbone but the last 1/3 part with the 2 back wheels are folded out to be in the front so you also see the 2 back wheels in front near the legs also.
So most of the body is Overload. From the side, the body of Devastator would look like an inverted V bec. the long part of Overload is folded like an inverted V.
Scavenger forms mostly the shoulder part and the 2 large wheels of Scavenger are together and kept behind. Scavenger is mostly like in the robot mode where his scooping part is split into 2 parts and forms the shoulders.

The $100 Devastator is missing Overload so they just made Scavenger double size. All they did was basically put the vehicle Scavenger upside down and that is already the body of the $100 Devastator. The scooping arm is folded at the scrotum area and the scoop goes to the back.

Yeah, that Komatsu truck is what Overload was first rumored to be.
And yes, it looks a lot like it. I just went with the Caterpillar because in the Komatsu the grill is raised over the rest of the front of the truck.

Maybe they removed some of the grill to avoid showing the Komatsu brand.
Overload in the movie has 4 bars in each of the ladders. The Komatsu has only 3 bars in each ladder.
The rails on both sides of Overload is more similar to that of the Caterpillar.

Or maybe they didn't get any sponsor to give them away that truck and they went away and made a CG one that doesn't entirely match any real vehicle.

    Sorry uKER, you're wrong...

I saw the movie multiple times now (and have the Cam version) - Overload is shown arriving with Scavenger and Mixmaster, and he looks EXACTLY like the toy.

Maybe when the DK ROTF guide is released, we will find out exactly which company manufactured his vehicle mode.

Overload on-screen looked to me like a flat-bed'ish' truck, rather than a deep-bed dump truck

Yeah looks like a Con logo. The spikes on either side are just about visible, albeit incredibly blurred. Nice work! :thumbs2:

That makes kinda sense... In the "I can read" book, Overload is shown as having four arms in robot mode (his coolest feature) - since the truck bed are his arms, they have to fit in there somehow.

I really, really wish we at least get a concept art of him and Hightower in robot mode. I mean, that book art and his legends toys HAVE TO BE based on something.
