Megatron Misunderstood
After reading ROTF defiance #1 I am a litle confused of the instensions everyone thought megatron had for the allspark.

In the film Optimus said that Meg wanted the allspark to turn all of earths machines in to robot drones. But does that even make sense? He was frozen, he had an army on cybertron. Why would he want to rule earth. Even once he got the allspark, he doesnt need more drones to rule cybertron, he already practially could.

*spoilers*
In defiance, he was a military leader, full access to the all spark, yet he lived in harmoney with all other autobots. Then something happened, he went evil, rallied the Decepticons and went after the allspark for some unknown purpose.

Perhaps the reason he wanted the cube wasnt for mass an army, but to revive the being which set in motion his coruption, and who's face mirros that of the decepticon logo. Perhaps he just wanted the cube to revive the Fallen.

Am I way off base? Just seemed a little simple for everyone to think he wanted to turn pop machines in to war drone.

Yeah, I'd say that sounds right.
Prime's explanation is more unicron singularity, or
maybe that's just what Prime thought. Defiance is
a very fun read thus far.
