The greatest fear you have for TF2:ROTF

1. again not much Decepticons dialogs among themselves and towards Autobots during battles.
2. Too much showing off the US military, making the movie like a commercial and propaganda for them instead of focusing on the robots.
3. again too often shaky cam until it annoys us.
4. more Decepticons getting damaged or killed off by US military than by the Autobots (displaying Transformers to be that weak).
5. unspectacular, undramatic deaths of Transformers (like our poor Jazz).

Things we definetly cannot avoid:
1. another chance for GM to use this movie as their last hope to get through the financial crisis.
2. many only human scenes which i mostly skip when watching the DVD
No matter as a Cybertronian vehicle, Martini Porsche or a new Pontiac, I will always win the race ;) Blurr...eat my dust!

Bay tries to cram too much stuff into it and fails to pull it off, revealing "Transformers: Energon, the live action movie only worse! (from what I know, people and things are "combining" all over the place!)

At least Sounwave and Devestator are comfirmed, I'll probably get their toys regradless of the movie's failure of sucess.

Oh, let me add "my girlfriend will kill me for draging her to the movie she said she'd kill me for NOT draging her to" to the list, also

That the Fallen isn't The Fallen and there is no set up, even subtle setup, for Unicron in TF3.

That they introduce so many different things and characters, that get absolutely no backstory or explanation at all.

I pretty much agree with this. I haven't paid attention to every single detail but from the sound of it I'm kinda starting to think they're trying to do too much at once.

Don't really want Revenge of the Fallen to end up like "X-Men 3."

You forgot painfully blatant product placement.

And I second you on the new characters. I don't want any more human characters like the computer nerd.

Some of my greatest fears about the sequel...

- Taking a cool gimmick like combining and applying it to virtually every new character that shows up
- The inclusion of Arcee
- The inclusion of a Pretender disguised as hot little barely legal campus chick
- Megatron continuing to have a Cybertronian alt mode
- Most of the new cars all looking like tiny eco-friendly pastelle colored electric hybrids
- Soundwave being turned into a black pickup truck
- A cast dominated by pretty faced young tweens who zero acting ability or experience

But I'm sure NONE of that will happen, so I'm not too worried

All kidding aside, I mainly just hope that the story flows, that the human aspect doesn't overshadow Transformer screen time, that there is actually some TF dialogue beyond just a couple of lines exchanged here & there, and that the battle scenes aren't a convoluted mess of shakey cameras, lens flares, flying debris and every other trick used to hide the CGI. A few more established characters (or character names) would also be nice as opposed to a bunch of entirely new ones.

Michael Bay may not have raped my childhood, but I think he may have molested it.
