I just have a hard time believing in some random new board member with tons of info and whose board join date is from right around the the announcement of the disinformation campaign.

some of the minor details sound like they could be correct but I just get the feeling it would be wierd if the Ice Cream truck was not a Transformer since it has been seen split in two and rotating.

I would hand it to M Bay and company if that was just a long elaborate prank they pulled on us.

With all that being said I think this more or less confirms that the volt and ice cream truck are transformers for one reason. He debunks the Hummer for no reason especially when there has been little to no pondering about this being a transformer. So if this was disinformation it would tell me the three vehicles are all transformers.

well thats my take on it anyway but then again its always fun to be really wrong.

well keep in mind that just because a car splits in two and starts spinning doesnt mean its transforming

it IS a michael bay movie after all so...exploding/splitting/spinning/jumping/flipping/everything else you can do to a car is fair game for anything

*shrug*

sides, they never bothered with anything like that in the first movie. why now? why not just let ILM handle transforming like they did in the first one?

thats not entirely true they used alot of large props to cut costs when they could. Besides I never implied they were transforming and Um bumblebee comes to mind when you want to talk about visual props. It costs tons more money to have ilm rotate a car in two pieces than it does a set crew. Also one of the things ILM credited michael bay with on TF1 was giving them lots of visual references to que the animators into the scene so most likely ILM will add to what they have physically on the set

besides that rig was also a rather complicated one as the car is spinning on axis and there is balance and mechanisms that were in place that arent just made over night it takes time and redoing.

Besides the shots we got were not exactly in public site it was a pulled far back shot with tons of things walking in front of it . I would bet money on it not be disinfo piece far to much time and effort to put into that when they have to worry about a tight deadline.

The only disinfo they can get out to us folks is going to come in the form of posts or leaked call sheets. They just dont have time to waste with transporting unused vehicles around all the time.

That's sure a lot of awfully detailed information for someone to casually pass along over some ice cream. Most people would only remember some basic scenerios; not every character & plot detail from Ravage to Jetfire to Soundwave to the passing mention of Shockwave during a Con dialogue exchange.

I'm not doubting the information itself - it actually sounds a lot like the first leaked script - I'm just doubting that it came from some random uncle who heard it from another guy and then remembered all the specifics that clearly over an ice cream conversation.

5) Torturros character dies

6) can you say optimus prime has a scene with a trailer?

7) ravage is a biological weapon, no lazer beak

8) ice cream truck, volt, and hummer hx concept are not transformers

9) megatron as a tank was early TF1 movie art and will not be in the sequel until the end when he is ressurected by soundwave - he said he didnt know how soundwave ressurected him...im hoping he doesnt sacrifice his spark or soemthing like that, that would be wak

10) the fallen is an old cybertronian legend, almost like the terra cotta of earth, the crazy stuff that sam is saying in that scene is him speaking cyberglyphics prophesizing the fallens return. basically the fallen is not a single robot, its an army of some sort who were supposed to protect the cube or something
1) Sounds plausible.

2) Again, seems possible.

3) We're already pretty sure that this is true.

4) Would be awesome and sounds possible, but I'm curious as to how anyone would know this unless they've seen the script.

5) We know that this is true.

6) Hmm, not sure about this one.

7) Ravage *is* a biological weapon? Perhaps someone was confused. No laserbeak makes me sad, but who knows how true this is.

8) Strange. The Icecream truck is certainly a Transformer. The Volt might not be (I doubt it though) but yeah the Hummer HX probably isn't.

9) Could be possible.

10) Could also be possible although IDW seemed to think that the Fallen was a single dude as seen in the DW comics. Maybe he has an army that follows him around? Who knows.
