You guys wanted to see leaked images of the robots, and now you got'em

 

They don't have to be fake to be not in the movie. Early concepts could still be covered by lawyers, even if the finished product is quite different.

Anyway, I'm just playing devil's advocate - I don't personally think they are misinformation at all, and I thought the pics looked quite cool, esp the blade-y, wheel-footed dude.

 

lol. I think they unofficially made that declaration some time ago.

 

The funny thing is there looks to still be a picture up on the official movie board.

They could have been early designs for them, and are different from the one's their actually going to use. Either way it confirms the designs were actually real. Whether they are the final designs is still up for speculation. Also, I still don't think the "head" picture was actually a head. If it was it was either an extremely early design, or a WIP picture.

 

I am agreeing (sort of) with the Trax head. It's just a little too cartoony, but who knows, it may compliment the character very very well. But getting leaked art so late in production (Being that they were toy designs) indicates that any potential changes will be minimal. I don't think we're gonna get another Megatron type head redesign. They could afford to switch that up because he was the ultimate bad guy in movie 1, and getting his design wrong would've totally effed the movie up. But this looks like an extremely secondary comic relief-ey character, and probably doesn't carry a whole importance plot wise.

 

Lets hope we all live to see if the images are real or not 

 

For goodness sakes people, it's possible that couldn't have been the head. Although my first thought was "Is that that head?", I thin tried to think of other things it could be, like it's back...

I'm just grabbing for anything, really...

 

Toys take time to design, develop, test and manufacture. Even simple Happy Meal toys need alot of time.

The Fallen, as in the Biblical sense of falling from grace, specifically by betraying his god to Unicron. It's meant to be poetic, see.

 

Bay/Hasbro/whoever may be doing like last movie... Release some designs, read the fan rants, then tweak slightly...(i.e. Megatrons head... unfortunately not his body).

Anyone notice the similarity to swindle on the R8

It looks to have the same legs as the toy of movie swindle and if anything looks to have the shockwave style head not barricade . Only the hands look like barricade. which they do alot.

 

The first artwork always upsets people, they really look different when put in the movie.

 

If said fake pictures included "same robot, new car parts" and "Jar-Jar-Bots", they'd want to remove them, because it reflects poorly on the end product and is being paraded about as official stuff.

 

if it was passing off then that would be the case. were the pics passing off as hasbro products?
anyway, its already been confirmed that the images are owned by Hasbro and Dreamworks. the question now is if these images are final designs or just wip?
