It would maintain a nod to the RiD hidden autobot temple that had all the prime heads in it. If the allspark has been inspired by TMA like nods, there's also the potential there is more of them. Plus we've been shown through use of jetfire from the callsheets, bots have visited earth before. So that begs the question of why, if not for the original lost allspark. Plus scorpnok has been lost in the desert since the first movie. Maybe that connection will bring to light the remaining artifact nods and as to why.
Though they still could use such things as stone henge, pyramids, sphinx, Nessie, and sasquatch, I tend to doubt they'll go overboard with it yet. At least barring symbolic use. IE rezzing megatron in one, or whatever else, may have made him spew allspark power that basicly 'grafitis' whereever. |

Or they were indeed built by humans to tap natural occuring power points on the earth, or other systematic natural events that could be used by Cybertronians for some purpose. Potentially even amplifying the power to something to turn the entire earth into a new cybertron.
Think like the G1 Fire on the mountain episode. Among other stonehenge material.
Though personally the pyramids make more sense due to their age, and mystique to their initial origins of the first ones. Not sure what to expect by this. While it fits the mythos, and is ripe with story potential, I don't see how it could be used without being blatantly compared to stargate if they go overboard with the pyramids and secret of the sphinx.
Then again, the sphinx would make a badass predaking for movie 3. =D
I'm also not inclined to think RoS will be direct canon to movie 2, it's never happened in the past for any movie, nor any property able to keep even their prequel/sequel books accurate, I don't see this being a first. Until Orci or Bay state otherwise, I'm going to just assume it's a canon that hits close, but not really in the movie-verse. Just the comic movie-verse, which will have an 'adapted' ROTF comic that fits to the comic moviev-verse. (The X-men movie prequel comics, tieing into the movie comic. None of which tie into the actual movie barring having similiar events in the movie comic and movie. Substories not matching though.) |

It's under the sphinx's paw.
Oh you mean the movie trailer, not prime's. Uh something about in the fall for the fallen.
Prime's trailer if included I think will be an earth made construct from TF tech. Not sure though.
Nessie does open the door for dinobots, and sasquatch does open doors for insecticons though. So that could be interesting. And would explain only 'blurry' pictures being taken. As they have that same field that blackout has that made stuff fuzzy in pictures. (Though an IR picture did pick up the field itself.) Maybe one pyramid itself, or something near it discovered by egyptians was a search party looking for Jetfire or Megatron, and crashed as well. Their ship being powered by the 'starheart'. Which could be the orb that screamer is searching for. Geometric shapes do fit the mathematics for being some kind of power source or 'artifact'.
Which would have been buried in a pyramid or the sphinx as a 'gift from the gods for that pharaoh'. From there, it's radiation or occupants could do or become whatever, which would also allow a scarab shaped decepticon for an insecticon nod.
All of this is just conjecture, but it goes to show the multiple uses they can do before claiming cybertronians built whatever. |

News Credits: 4 | Well, I don't want to see Tfs related to the egyptian pyramids, it's been done before(specially by stargate) and I don't want to see it again, but seems like it's going to happen that way.
On the other hand, I think it's really cool that the symbols on the allspark and on the faces actually mean something.
The intriguing part is that Jetfire might have some realtion to his old G1 self, he is an old TFs that explored earth and got isolated here, forgotten and deactivated, only this time, it has a link to the egyptians.
Finally, I don't think that Sam going nuts because of the allspark it'san accident, I think the allspark is conciously trying to "talk" with him. |
