I'd have to disagree on this one. Last time I checked Arcee doesn't have a twin and in the leaked treatment the ice cream truck split into twin robots. So I don't see any plausible way unless they tried making Elita 1 one of the "twins". Oh and the ice cream truck just plain doesn't seem feminine enough.

If everything in the spoilers is true, "the Twins" are a pair of Decepticons with a mischevious sense of humour, who transform (first into an ice-cream truck, and then) into two runabout-type cars: the pics are here.

Twin, runabout-style Decepticons? The Battlechargers.

Of course, most of the spoilers probably aren't true.
Are we sure there are three bikes in the movie (not just two sets of three actual bikes including spares, and three drivers including the stuntman...?)

Twin bikes + twin drivers = "The Twins"?

I have no evidence to back this up, but I think the ice cream truck might even be Kup. The fact that it's pink kinda hurts that possibility though.

The Twins are not Decepticons...

They chase the Audi R8. The Audi R8 IS a Decepticon.

We've seen a close up of either the Beat or Trax's rims, they have an Autobot symbol on them.

They're Autobots.
