Seeing as how Wreckage has a CG design that was never used, and it was reported Bay had selected a few unused to carryover into this movie... It's possible, but maybe not likely as of yet. Not sure altogether, it could go either way. Sounds more like a writer fake out before the real thing. But with considering the side aspects and Orci's own taste of the RoS story... Who knows. Maybe RoS Fallen and Movie Fallen have two different backstories even though they share the same appearance. It'd be an interesting nod to the G1 movie, and comics. Plus it'd allow Furman to sidestep any mystical angles as of yet, and the movie can lay it's own groundwork for that. Personally I lean neither will happen, but the potential is there, that cannot be denied.
