The return of Megatron, and his new Earth alt mode

I dont think Megs would belittle himself as to scan a puny Earth machine. He fears no one, therefore he does not feel the need to hide.

Megatron needs a sleek new cybertronian form personally.

But overall, I guess go for whatever suits the story for now, then later write him in as attaining a true pure cybertronian form unhindered by war damage and scars, maybe when he eventually goes Galvatron. For now, something he can funnel his power into that may be simplistic, but offers him quicker devastation.
Then if he goes Cybertronian again, he can carryover his new habits of cannon on arm always at the ready, etc. Especially if he doesn't destroy starscream, but keeps the traitor close.

Maybe a triple changer. Similiar to Blitzwing only more epic. Like a thor hammer, and supersonic jet of some craft (commercial spaceflight type even? Yes, those do exist). Not only devastating, but able to shift from locale to locale at his discretion.

Well, Megatron came to Earth to get the Allspark, and crash-landed before he could scan an alt mode. Then afterwards, he never got a chance. So whenever he arises, that would be a priority, right? He could become a hulking tank or jet or something. His robot form would change, possibly drastically.

So of course, we'd get an awesome new toy!

Honestly, I think it would suit the character better to NOT have an earth based alt-mode. Megatron's not the type to want to hide and disguise himself IMO. The AllSpark is destroyed and he will just want to wreak havoc on Earth at best. No hiding required.

As bad-ass and violent as Megatron might be..don't forget he already got killed once, and if he returns, knows the puny humans now have weapons to hurt Cybertronians. I doubt he'd go for an all-out attack this time...

It doesn't matter to me if Megatron is a jet or a tank. I just hope he will be in the second movie.
