I still think that Movie Megatron's ego would not allow him to taint his pure Cybertonian form... but if I were to place bets, I'd have him as an SR-71. Granted, the Blackbird is out of commision, but it is somewhat reminiscent of his movie alt mode.
Muahahahahahaha!.... ahem.... cough.... sorry 'bout that.

if he does, i think he'll probably be a new jet..hopefully different to starscream
he shoudl be too big to be a tank, definitely...lets see..he's definitely coming back, probably in this very movie
for one, that's actually the YF-23, which was the other contest entry for the US's superplane competition. it went up against the F-22 which turned out to be far superior, and so the US bought the F-22. So considering that these things don't technically "exist" i think that megatron would stand out a little bit lol. but then again, it was stated that he chose not to have an Earth alt mode in the first movie. i would expect that his mind wouldn't change.

then again, i guess it would make sense. him coming back from the dead...he'd definitely want to use the element of surprise in the highest degree.

Aren't there rumors that he's coming back as a tank?

i didnt say its an F22, its clearly not..i didnt know wat it was though
and i just assumed that he meant a black jet (identical to the silver starscream) as megatron's alt mode, coz the pic had a silver jet and a black jet..if this is wat was meant, then thats probably a cool idea, like a prototype thing, which is working for the car alt modes

The Blackbird is Jetfire, according to the leaked callsheets which Bay claimed was fake (even then, it might be a Soundwave cover).

I would differ on the F23 vs. the F22. Check all the specs. Some of the decision was political as well.

I'd love to see the return of Megatron, although I doubt he should be revived and play a big part in the second movie. Maybe only at the end to set up for the sequel?

I can totally see him scan an earth object and his appearance change into something more similar to his G1 counterpart. I think Animated handled this good (although limited) by having Megatron appear in a Cybertronian mode in the beginning, only to have him be rebuilt to an Earth mode later on.

I read a theory on this board a while back that the **SPOILER?**SR-71 (according to the script, Jetfire) could be Megatron...although I think that ship would function greatly as the Earth counterpart to Meg's Cybertronian Jet, I doubt it's him. After all, then how did he end up in a museum and become a ship that has been there for years?

It probably is Jetfire, brought to life by an Allspark fragment?

If he came back as one of the main battle tanks from USA, UK etc I'd be happy.
Nice, your fruit killing skills are remarkable.
