Hey all.
Long time fence sitter, first time poster.
Here is my speculation and theories on why Megatron IS “The Fallen”
With the new images of the repaint for Megatron shown recently, it got me thinking. Why was the ice changed to flames instead of just removed… Hmm.
So I check the wikipedia on “The Fallen”
Now I might be coming to conclusions here and completely wrong but here are the similarities between the current story of movie Megs and “The Fallen”
1.
Fallen: One of the original thirteen Transformers created by Primus, the robot who would become the Fallen betrayed his creator by siding with Primus's dark twin, the malevolent planet-eater, Unicron.
Megs: Megatron betrayed Optimus and in essence, The Cube (he’s creator) to dominate the universe.
2.
Fallen: The Fallen fell victim to the same fate as his master, sucked through a black hole into another dimension.
Megs: After his defeat, was thrown in the deepest darkest point in the ocean, essential a black hole. Wether he was still active and in stasis lock is anyone’s guess.
3.
Fallen: most of the images I can find from searching for the fallen has shown him with flames like some sort of god.
Megs: The recolour of the toy has flames shown
Like I said, I might be coming to conclusions here and completely wrong about all this, but I would like to see who else shares my speculation. |

I know the IDW confirmed that a character named the Fallen or refered to as the Fallen is in the film but it just seems spotty to me. | |

Seeing how these figures look like battle sets(since the feature characters that directly confronted eachother) it wouldn't be far fetch to figure that's what the flames are for. | |

If the Fallen does come from megs in this movie I ll be waiting for the movie franchise to reformat nevermind the transformers.
For what seemed to be such a straight forward idea of putting transformers on the big screen this thing has gotten all sorts of convoluted.

#10 | | Herald of Unicron Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,244 | These figures aren't from the next movie, they'll be based off scenes from the first movie. Megs will come with FB jazz and Prime will come with Bonecrusher, as they'll be battle 2-packs.
And the reason they didn't just "take off" the ice is because then he would need a new molded chest, shins and wings because without the ice pieces are missing. Hell his wings are ice. The flames are supposed to be him at his death scene, being bombarded with missles and sabot rounds and then having the all-spark jabbed into him.
