IDW interviews being purged! "Fallen" removed, no mention of IDW having the script!

Okay, anyone remember an interview with Simon Furman and Chris Ryall at Comic Book Resources that confirmed that a character named "The Fallen" would appear in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"?

Does anyone also remember an interview with Chris Mowry that confirmed The Fallen, Arcee and Soundwave?

Well.

So do I.

Looks like we were all mass-hallucination, though:

The CBR Interview does not contain any quote by Furman that claims that there is a character named "The Fallen" in the movie, and the MTV interview only mentions Soundwave.

...

Wow.

I did a salvage attempt via Google Cache. There were at least TWO revisions to the MTV interview. The first got rid of Arcee, the second of The Fallen. The CBR interview has been "updated" several times as well.

DARGH, there's not even any trace of IDW claiming to have a copy of the script anymore!

Yes, I remember reading those when they first came out. Maybe, Bay/Paramount/Orci & Kurtzman/Hasbro decided it was time to better coordinate their information PR campaigns with companies such as IDW?

Or maybe all your detective work has scared the higher ups, Nevermore.

Sounds like damage control. Or more misinformation.

There may be no peace for the wicked, but the righteous can damn well get a piece whenever they feel like it.

All I know is FFN linked those interviews at Bay's site after Bay posted his recent rant, and before his site mysteriously disappeared off the interwebs.

Yeah guys, its my fault. I posted on Bay's forum, linking to the interviews as evidence of Bay contradicting IDW saying they have the script for Revenge.

Sorry if I got you in trouble, IDW

I'm not surprised. Actually, I expected the damage-control a bit sooner. I guess Bay and Paramount weren't counting on IDW/Hasbro to blurt it out like that. They could've announced Destiny and elaborated on the 13 series without really confirming The Fallen's involvement. As for Soundwave and Arcee, that's not really a secret at this point.

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension of sound. A dimension of sight. A dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance. Of things, and ideas. You've just crossed over, into, the Twilight Zone.
