now that he's confirmed as being in it..
i'm guessing they want to do a 'transformers the movie' storyline, with megatron being resurrected in time for the third movie - but as unicron would be even more of a stretch than the dinobots, they're using the fallen to play unicron's part?  |

| Chris Ryall says they (IDW) had the screenplay for Revenge of the Fallen. Simon Furman will be writing the adaptation for Revenge, so one would assume he knows who is in the movie.
Also, "The 13" is a big deal project for both IDW and Hasbro, part of Hasbro's ongoing canon that all continuities of Transformers have the same Primus and Unicron (possibly overriding whatever their creators have previous said). So the Fallen apparently being in Revenge may eventually tie (off-screen) into The 13. | |

FUrman won't be able to start on it until they finish filming.

But let's say that old Fallen is in the film. Just how much will he get changed? Will he have the same basic character and back story, or will that get changed as well? Will he get crotch killed like Blackout or will he put up an actual fight? Will he get played for a camp feel or a serious feel? And just how the heck did the writers work in The Fallen when so many other things haven't made the franchise cut? | |

How did that happen? | I was hoping the Fallen wouldn't make the cut, not that I don't like the character, in contrary I think he's awesome. Maybe I'm just worried his role will be a disappointment.
