i could have sworn there was an article posted last month "confirming" that it was reference to the comic character, with all the darkness and flames and shit.

i think that Revenge of the Fallen referring to someone who is "fallen" as in dead is really really lame, so i was relieved when i read that it was going to be an actual character named "The Fallen".

but apparently no one else remembers that thread, so you are all probably right. which sucks.

I remember what you're talking about. It was essentially just speculation. The way the title was officially anounced to be true by Hasbro, it seemed to hint at the whole Decepticons returning to get revenge. While it would be cool to see a giant alien robot on fire that turns into a tank on screen, I just don't see them using the Fallen in the movies. From what I know, he's supposed to be in the Universe line at some point, or they were planning to put him in it at one point.

Wasnt Cybertron suppose to be ''ravaged'' and destroyed by the war.... I mean logically there s no more Cybertron... So why would Starscream fly back there??? Hum....

according to reign of starscream, there were some reinforcements on mars, but i have a feeling cybertron is still out there
gotta wait for issue 3 to come out in aus though
