I don't why the hell they would pick a tag line that looks more like Rolling On The Floor rather than Revenge Of The Fallen. I hope this is just a phase kind of like when some jack ass thought that Blue Harvest was a better name than Return of the Jedi. I don't know about you all, and this IS a little late, but good god I would expect something more from these movie making people.

I personally like it. Sounds like it's going to make for a great sequel, yet stand on it's own as a good movie by itself. As for it's abbreviated form, ROTF, I honestly couldn't care less about what it looks like abbreviated.

Revenge of the Fallen is a pretty telling and catchy subtitle. You don't have to abbreviate.

I think Starscream's Reign would flow better with me. But I'll give the movie a chance before I judge it. As far as the abbreviation goes, I found it a little funny that it looks like Rolling On The Floor. minus the LMAO.

They're supposed to title the film based on whether or not it creates a good acronym for lazy internet nerds who can't be bothered to type four words? I highly doubt you'll see "R.O.T.F." plastered on any official movie marketing or merchandise.

No it wouldn't, you gotta stop looking at it from a fans perspective.

Remember... and I wish everybody would say this to themselves before complaining about something related to the movie... this movie is made for the masses. A subtitle like "Starscream's Reign" or "Rise of the Decepticons" will raise more eyebrows than anything.

blue harvest wasn't the title of jedi, ever
it was a code name to throw people off
all sorts of movies that are likely to be high profile do this so there is not too much interference by media or fans during filming, and so it's less likely films will be stolen and bootlegged

The only one that picked that tag line is you. How can you hope it is a phase when you started it.

Transformers: Revenge of the fallen is the name of the movie it doesnt matter what you call it. I'm lazy so if i mention it in a thread I type (t, f, 2) which autoformats to tf2

Just so you know on star wars boards people type ROTJ which doesnt look and better then ROTF. That doesnt mean Return of the Jedi isnt a cool title.

No. I did not pick the tag line. If Kruger and Orci wanted a tagline from me it wouldn't be Revenge of the Fallen.
