Maybe these aren't pretenders. Maybe they're goopy human facsimilies, like in Devastation, etc.
Just an idea. The board of fail - where thought goes to die |

I'd prefer the fasimiles idea any time over Isabel Lucas folding her arms and legs and becoming a robot. |

Maybe they're just angry at all the men out there. The board of fail - where thought goes to die |

Isabel Lucas playes a Decepticon Pretender, and I'll bet a box of donuts that it's the same robot that we've been seeing in the past few days. |

Pretenders always pushed the limits of plausibility toy-line wise, buuuuuut....
To a film-maker type, possibly paging through the archival materials of TF history, the notion of there being a way to disguise a robot character AS a human would probably be appealing from a story-telling perspective. Witness Masterforce: you almost wouldn't have known it was a story about giant alien robots at times. Think of it what you will, as a plot device it does open up a lot more options.
Knowing the Bay logic/style, its a safe bet that we'll be talking about a smaller-than-human size robot hiding in the human shell (A la Men In Black) rather than Blackout or whoever clacking his braclets together ( ) but it'd still be a win-win. Useful plot device for the writers, nice nod to history for the fans.
Time will tell.....
