I'm just wondering is this a movie with sequel potential or more of a stand-alone? Thanks |

Plus, fanfic is never well-known enough amongst our broad and scattered fandom for the inclusion of such a fan-made character to even register in the minds of an entire forum of people. It would be a wasted gesture on a handful of people, and of course, the fan author.
Transformers has plenty of characters and character archetypes (and importantly, trademarked names Hasbro holds and can use for merchandise) that you guys can pick from, or hell, create a new character and give them an existing name. Hasbro has been doing that for years. | Quote:

I agree with this. Fan-made characters are, for the most part, ill-defined "characters" that fall AT LEAST into one of the following categories:
1) The writer, as he views himself, as a robot
2) Super awesome hardcore unbeatable badass motherf***er (read: Wolverine)
3) Both of the above.
With literally HUNDREDS of established Transformers characters, there's not exactly a need to reach for fan-made characters for lack of other options.
And if you insert a character created by fan X, rest assured that fans Y, Z and DOZENS of other fans will complain that you used that one fan's character instead of theirs.
Not Worth It. | Quote:

We don’t know exactly who the title Revenge of The Fallen is referring to exactly yet. Personally I’m hoping it’s a metaphor and not the character. |
Man, you guys really hate fan characters. Like, screaming it from the rooftops hate. If they throw some fan a bone by including a bot they made doing some menial task in the background, is it really that bad? Like I said earlier, it's not like they're going to be saving the day and becoming the new Allspark and wielding a keyblade and going out with Sweeny Todd. And I think we should be moving on now and get back to the questions everyone has had a chance to say there peace.

Less than 24 hours and there are 3 new pages for me to read! 3!!! And Mr. Orci clearly has more important stuff to do than me, so whenever he can get to the forum how do you think HE feels?!?!
How many Autobots and Decepticons will be in TF2, approximately? |

are there any scenes in the script that you are REALLY excited to see once the CGI is complete?
are there any scenes that you know will make the audience say "HOLY EFFENSHITE"? Quote: |

Allright, here's my bit: Do you already have names for the vehicles you're using during the shooting? Say, the infamous ice cream truck. If you want it to be taken from Point A to Point B, do you just call out, "Bring the ice cream truck over here!" or does it have its own Autobot or Decepticon name that you call it by? Or even a codename?
Thanks for reading/answering/whatever you have time to do. | They're referred to by their character names! |

2 - any more car chases? and longer too! cuz I remember Bay mentionning his car chases in the TF movie were gonna be more memorable than that one in Bad BOys 2 and although it was in terms of visual effects considering it contained transforming robots, the chase part seemed very short. Any car chase involving vehicles transforming to robots then merging back to vehicle in a matter of sseconds to avoid cars and shit like that? | All signs point to definitely maybe! |

Though Arcee is the major Autobot in those comics, and it doesn't show her going to Earth... | Indirectly, it shall be deducible from the story and possible fodder for other media (comic or Toon). |
