I could see Grimlock, Snarl and Slag as 3 big old school muscle cars, Like and Old Chevy Nova, Charger, Challenger, any of those old muscle cars. They have big engines, big bodies, and are fast and aggressive. They may wind up not being as big, but their tenacity is most important. As long as they show up and kick much ass, they will be appreciated. | Cool idea. |

That's not doing the characters justice at all, is it? But having dinosaur modes in the movie would totally mess up the overall feeling and direction of 'robots disguising as vehicles' as well.
I'd say either not use them at all, or maybe use them outside the movies, in comic tie-ins or stuff like that. You know, media in which you can explore more of the world outside a 2,5 hour movie that needs a general direction to move forward in. | well ok then |

Is that right, Bob?
Also, you wouldn't happen to know when filming will be at the boneyard in Tuscon, Arizona would you? | Yeah, that's part of it. The other part of it was in the blocking not being exactly as clean as it could've been. |

Allright, here's my bit: Do you already have names for the vehicles you're using during the shooting? Say, the infamous ice cream truck. If you want it to be taken from Point A to Point B, do you just call out, "Bring the ice cream truck over here!" or does it have its own Autobot or Decepticon name that you call it by? Or even a codename?
Thanks for reading/answering/whatever you have time to do. | We have names. |

Plus, fanfic is never well-known enough amongst our broad and scattered fandom for the inclusion of such a fan-made character to even register in the minds of an entire forum of people. It would be a wasted gesture on a handful of people, and of course, the fan author.
Transformers has plenty of characters and character archetypes (and importantly, trademarked names Hasbro holds and can use for merchandise) that you guys can pick from, or hell, create a new character and give them an existing name. Hasbro has been doing that for years. |

Hasbro has been doing that for years. | I agree with this. Fan-made characters are, for the most part, ill-defined "characters" that fall AT LEAST into one of the following categories:
1) The writer, as he views himself, as a robot
2) Super awesome hardcore unbeatable badass motherf***er (read: Wolverine)
3) Both of the above.
With literally HUNDREDS of established Transformers characters, there's not exactly a need to reach for fan-made characters for lack of other options.
And if you insert a character created by fan X, rest assured that fans Y, Z and DOZENS of other fans will complain that you used that one fan's character instead of theirs.
Not Worth It.

Fan made characters and character original to the comic are not recognizable to the passive fan or the guy who had Transformers as a kid and is now bringing his kids to the movie. I say focus on established characters there are loads of them.
We don’t know exactly who the title Revenge of The Fallen is referring to exactly yet. Personally I’m hoping it’s a metaphor and not the character.

Blitzwing: ""You overgrouwn Autabot! I vill zcrawl you zerkits zo bad dhat you vill need a GPZ zcanner to find your exhauzt port... " |
