1) Will Transformers have more coverings this time around, more like the G1s did?
2) Will Chip or Carly make an appearance in this film or the next?
3) Will Optimus have a trailer in this film, and will it transform? Will we see Roller, and if so, is it apart of Prime like his profile states or a separate being? Will Roller have a robot form?
4) In the last film, we saw the Decepticons take a serious beating and continue to function--headless and bodiless (Frenzy and Skorpinok). What happened to Jazz? Is he really dead?
5) Does Wheeljack's name appear as one or two words in the script?
6) Seeing how the Cube was able to shift mass in the last film, will mass shifting take place with the Transformers this time around?
7) Will the Autobots get a flier this time around?
8) Will these alien robots, the evil ones in particular, get some color variation? All/mostly silver/grey made it difficult to tell who was who the first time watching the film at times, so color or a glowing purple insignia would be nice.
I'll stop here as I probably have all ready asked more than I should have. Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions m(_ _)m
Transformed | 1.) what do you mean by "more coverings/"
2.) In a way, Mikaela was our version of Carly.
3.) We've talked about the trailer many times. I can say nothing more than that.
4.) Jazz, sadly, is really dead. For now....
5.) No comment.
6.) It was never out intention to allow mass shifting among the transformers, except in the special case of interaction with the cube.
7.) Please clarify?
8.) Yes. |

Then again I'm not the guy and maybe he wants to know if the Autobots will wear clothes and have a jet to carry them. |

I have another but first I want to comment on your latest response... Quote:
Originally Posted by Bob Orci 1.) what do you mean by "more coverings/" | I think he means closing up the body armor a bit more. In the first movie they were lacking in armoring, with their joints, circuitry and hydraulics showing wherever there wasn't a piece of car. Quote: |
4.) Jazz, sadly, is really dead. For now....
| Great! I hope it stays that way. Movie Jazz was pretty lame with his forced gangsta rap lines and his ugly Pontiac car mode... By flier, he means an Autobot capable of flight, with an aerial vehicle mode. Like Skyfire/Jetfire, Powerglide or the Aerialbots.
Now, my own questions (again, sorry if they've been asked...)
Have you watched the new Transformers Animated show? If so, what do you think of it?
Any characters you created for the movie that you'd like to see show up in other fiction (like IDW G1 comics or Animated)? I'd personally love to see Barricade show up in one of those. |

That's another question I have. Will the Decepticons get some more color this time? They were all very bland to look at. A splash of color (on the robot forms) would do worlds for their visual and personality. If it's suggestion you could make, please try and ask! Purple symbols (adorning the returning Decepticon army, coming back with war in mind) would show they ARE an invading army.
Did you write the Decepticons so you could root for the villian (if you so choose)?
One reason Transformers was so special was that they bad guys weren't just these generic villians, Megs was the powerhouse, Starscream was a backstabber, but cold and effective in his own right, Shockwave was the logic driven thinker, SOundwave was the loyal, but somewhat self serving, soldier... Other Decepticons were manic depressive, uncommited to the cause, suicidal, manical... they were really human, and you got to see they were like the Autobots, but on opposing sides. I'm wondering if you guys have considered this.
Also man, thanks for getting so involved. It makes me pysched for whatever you write for part 3, I hope you've been able to immerse yourself in Star Trek like this. It's nice to see a writer not just writing for the pay check, but for the experience of it all, the good and bad. Someone who loves their job, not someone who came up with a writing formula to get a paycheck. Quote:

With no mass changing, Starscream and particularly Blackout should have been much taller than Megatron in the first movie, based on their alternate modes (and Megatron as compared to Prime, who was shown to directly interact with Megs, and whose height can also be deduced from his alternate mode).
Is that why neither Starscream nor Blackout was shown side by side with Megatron? (The only interaction between Starscream and Megatron didn't show them in a way that would have allowed to estimate the size difference between them.)
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

More metal plating or whatever you want to call it on the Cybertronians is a GOOD thing! Going to a gun fight with all your vitals exposed is a blunder.
If Wheeljack were in the movie, would he have a mouth or translucent side pieces glowing, signaling his speech as he did in the cartoon?
I ask this as we were told that Optimus was going to have a mouth, though, I (and maybe many other fans, too) felt aliens don't have to resemble humans in every way--it would be nice to see some transformers with one eye (Shockwave), disproportionated arms/legs (Optimus Primal's beast mode), bodies that don't look humanoid (something not animal based, but unique) or even robots that don't have actual hands--I'm not talking about those with transforming limbs, but those which limbs are fixed weaponry or what have you.
Again, thanks for you taking the time to talk with us.

PS: I missed what you said about Optimus Prime's trailer, so if you don't mind, could you either point me in the direction of where the answer is or summarize what you had said--if any other poster knows the answer, any help you could offer is appreciated. |
