    Mr. Bob,

    1) When I read “Unicron” somewhere on the net I thought of the disappointment I got when I read “Galactus” and then saw Fantastic Four 2. I’m not asking if it’s gonna be in the movie, but should we expect some powerful scenes of important characters such as the one mentioned and not just “something floating in space”?

    2) If I’m not mistaken I read that the dinobots were left out for lack of sustainable reasons for transforming into dinosaurs. I had an idea that may be good for using sometime: One or a group of protoforms crush from space in a museum, and by the landing or by nature they are a little dumb (like in G1), so they take the shape (just shape, like in G1 or scorponok) of the first thing they see thinking that it’s appropriate.

    3) I got disappointed by some day-night flaws in some shoots and the shaky camera in the fights. Do you know if some improvements have being taken into account?

THANK YOU for all your hard work!

It's a Bay movie you should expect no less. It's like his trademark.

    Shaky camera and big explosions.

Bay's trademark is actually dramatic action slowmo. The shaky cam is just the 'in' thing for movies these days. Look at Christopher Nolan's stuff. He has shaky cam AND jump cuts.

    Thanks, you two:)

I hope that ISN’T what Optimus and his trailer will look like as that looks hideous:(  Rather than just transforming into added armor, engines or whatever that stuff was I think it be pretty sweat to see one huge weapon—bazooka like—or another robot, much like the God Master line version of Prime. …my opinion naturally. I don’t think its necessary to see Prime get taller—just give him what he needs to bring the big boys down to his level. A gun bigger than he is would definitely do that:bay

I know this question was directed at me, but I have to ask: how would you explain flesh on robots, especially after seeing them scan fossils in a museum?

With ‘Robots in Disguise’ as a tagline, it seems really silly to have dinosaurs in the movie, as they would stick out like a sore thumb, as dinosaurs no longer exist.

Why couldn’t the Dinobots appear in the picture in name only or arrive on earth in a beast form from another world, giving their comrades some much needed assistance in whichever mode they picked up outside of Earth—they could assume new modes during the movie or the next. Should the Dinobots ever show up in a Transformer movie PLEASE don’t make them stupid. The reason of old was silly then and it’s silly now; microchips are getting smaller and smaller and they’re doing more and more, so the small head/brain being the reason for stupidity among these powerful beasts really needs to evolve into something new.

Not to mention that the TF's can't scan carbon based objects (bones, people etc), hence the reason they all become cars, stereos, etc...

Of course there is the matter of Scorponok, sooooo yeah nevermind.

Yeah, but Scorponok is just your typical soulless alien bug monster.

I don't think I've seen this but when the movies out or even before it, will we find out how the rest of the movie would've been if Shia hadn't been injured.

Example: maybe different things would've happen.

    I'm just curious.

Thanks again for answering the questions, I loved it the first time.

    Dear Bob Orci

Do transformers have feeling in your story?? Like Prime felt ''freedom is a right of all sentient beings''and Bumble Bee felt pain when he lose his legs.

However, Scorponok was - Bob confirmed this - something between a drone and a symbiont, and as such he was essentially part of Blackout. His alternate mode, thus, was part of Blackout's Engine (the center of Scorponok's body is basically a General Electric T64 turboshaft), whereas the "scorpion" mode is the robot mode (the toys' bipedal robot mode is purely a Hasbro marketing afterthought since the toys would have to actually transform so they could be sold as Transformers).

It's nice to see you around, Roberto. I had a thought (lucky, I know! ;P)

Is there any point where we might see Mama or Papa Witwicky acknowledging the value of their 4000 dollar investment? I needs me some Judy Witwicky!

mr orci, when you create a character, do you outline their entire backstory in your mind/on paper? or do you create a basic character and create a past as it suits a story?

    Hey Bob

Don't know if someone asked this didn't feel like going through 80 pages to find out.

I didn't mind Optimus having a mouth but is there any chance that he'll leave the faceplate on during the battle scenes this time? I don't see why it has to be off for him to talk. Every time he put it on it was off the very next scene so we could see his mouth move, and why would some one remove a peice of there armor during battle. I don't see why we can't have some time with his classic look and see him talk with it on. It was as anoying as venoms face in Spiderman 3, we got a few good shots of it but that was all. Any chance you could talk to Mr. Bay about this?

Basically they want the mouth to better convey emotion.

And he leaves it on during potential conflict anyway. He retracted to tell Sam to push it into his chest, and pulled it up when Megatron attacked him. Then when Megatron ignored him to go after Sam, he retracted it, presumably so the audience could clearly see who was talking.

Mr. Orci, Thank you for answering my question. I have a couple more questions and comments. First off I heard about your answer that Jazzy really is dead but you said ' for now... ' Does that mean I can hope he'll come back? I screamed when he was ripped apart and I really mean I screamed. I cried over Jazz for a few days like I did when they killed off Optimus in the 1986 movie. Please do us all a favor and DON'T kill Optimus please..a lot of us couldn't live through it again. One more question. Can we hope to expect Ratchet's legendary temper? Thank you SO much for taking time for us. As far as I'm concerned I'm already giving this movie two thumbs up. Did so awesome on the first one, I don't even have to think if the next one will be epic awesomeness. I KNOW it will be. Thanks again! ~ Kaeko
