Question For Mr. Orci: This isn't directly related to the in-production sequel, but I gotta ask, will Rodimus/Hot Rod ever make an appearance in any of the films (Assuming any more have been greenlighted) or even this sequel? I've been curious about it since... well, since after watching the 1st movie.

Q: Who is your favorite Transformer from G1 to the '07 Movie or sequel?

Mr. Orci,

I'm not gonna bother with the sequal questions because that would be ridiculous, anyone who knows anything at all about the film industry would understand you can't answer specifics on that topic. However, thanks so much for all your efforts on the first film they were greatly appreciated.

Now to my question:

How does one go about finding out who owns a property, and after the property's owner is found how does one purchase rights to that property to produce a film. I have a killer idea for an oldy but goody. With the way things are coming out of Tinseltown now, this will fit right in.

Edit: Okay...I just found out who owned the rights to this property. However they lost them at the end of 2007. I have a contact number but I am scared If I call to find out who owns the property now (if anyone) that they will re-purchase it with the intent to do what I want to do.....any suggestions.......

I have a question: Why were the Transformers in the first film picked to be in it? Optimus and Megatron were obviously put in because it wouldn't be Transformers without them, but why were guys like Brawl and Bonecrusher in? Not complaining (Bonecrusher was awesome), but I'm just curious.

First of all, thanks for joining us here and taking the time to answer our questions.

This is actually a curiosity I have about the first movie, so hopefully I can ask this without risking spoilers for the second. It relates to the cool little action moments such as Ironhide's slow-mo acrobatics, Bonecrusher's bodytackle of Prime and Starscream's vaulting under the bridge at the Hoover Dam.

Were there any cool action ideas like that that you thought of or scripted for Movie 1 but that didn't see the light of day due to budget/technical issues etc?

In the original line-ups for the first movie there were some robots both sides that did not make the first film. Now we know Arcee will be in this one so could we expect some of the bots who did not appear in the first movie be in Transformers 2?
