2. I hear Jonah Hill declined a part in Transformers: RotF due to his dislike of the script. Can you tell us what he didn't like? (I know you probably can't, but I thought you might have dropped the character from the script or changed it around with his departure allowing you to talk about it). | 1. Much EASIER! We said we would not do it without Ehren. We'd worked with him before so we knew we would be a good match. We look at it as forming a temporary band for a specific concert.
2. Rumors are not exactly true. He came, he read for a while, and he left. Then days later we had a meeting with him to talk about his concerns, all of which were simple to deal with. He wanted to make sure it wasn't too close to the character's he'd been playing, and we told him it would be our pleasure to differentiate him. We all left the meeting smiling and laughing, and his agents and the studio started negotiating. We just couldn't come up with a mutually satisfactory deal. Sometimes it's s scheduling conflict, sometimes it's that an actor only wants to agree to be in one movie at a time... etc. So all I can figure is some one who doesn't know much saw him leave the read early, and assumed the rest. No hard feelings here. |

You could even use the voice actors AS their holo-drivers, like someone has suggested to do with Cullen.

I have a few questions.
Will we see Flying (Self Propelled) Bots and Cons (in robot mode) in the sequel?
The leaked script treatment (This could have changed since then) mentions Hot Rod being a spy in the Decepticon camp and coming to Earth to warn the Autobots, so is Hot Rod/Rodimus A Yes or No in the sequel now?
Will there be a "Return to Cybertron for the War" stance with some autobots as has been rumored?
Will Arcee and Mikaela pair up like Sam and Bumble bee?
Will Kup be the Geratric TF Bay talked about? (Muffler Backfire/Fart jokes could be funny if done right)
Thanks for your answers. Current Projects: Universe 2.0/Timelines Tracks, Jazz, Brainstorm, Dragstrip, Deadend, Trailbreaker, Timelines Action Master Snarl. Alternators: Nightbeat (Started, minor work). Gimme Feedback <<<<< Add Some Today RATBAT.net Where Intelligence Lives!

Optimus used the classic line "Transform and Roll Out," which made me squeal in excitement (gave me chills, i swear). so it made me wonder:will the decepticons have their own little saying? cause "transform and rise up" from Animated is a pretty cool line, and figured its "Rise of the Fallen" matches the "Rise Up" bit-just wondering if tht line would be used.
EDIT::dang thats a muddled question... Two Updates in one Day!10/2/09 Check it out! |

second, can we expect bumblebee still using his radio or just speaking?maybe both?
which autobots will get the most screen time? |

You could even use the voice actors AS their holo-drivers, like someone has suggested to do with Cullen. | The problem with that is how to make it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that the holodrivers aren't real drivers. Its already hard enough to impart to the general public that the cars and trucks *are* the characters without human-looking drivers with their voices. The non-fan audience would almost automatically view the holodrivers as the real characters, because they have relatable forms. |
