Keep up the awesome work. And I just realized you're heralding two of the biggest sci-fi franchises now. Revitalizing one, and bringing another to life.
Last 2 questions I got.
1. Fandom Brown nosers who praise and love the work you've done, does the idol worship feel weird?
2. What's it like knowing the mythos and details you and your team setup, will be the basis for many decades of geek discussions, names spoken alongside the likes of the original writers of trek, actors like nimoy and shatner, and even Lucas himself? Though I guess you'd be used to this notion while working on Trek. A mythos many grew up on before G1 was ever around.
Anyway, I gotta go wash the brown off my nose, and light candles for the altar. |

So the question is what over excitable group of geeks are you planing on outraging next? Please keep in mind that I like to hide questions in statements in smart ass phrasing. | Hopefully, fans of the american government with "The 28th Amendment." |

I mean the fact that it seemed rather.. inbalanced in the first film. Frenzy and Barricade survived the big fight with Bumblebee and Sam, but near the end, they just started to fall like flies. It's not a complaint, really, as I understand you not wanting to have them drop off slowly and seem weak, but after Blackout took out that military base, he seemed to fall far to easily with a few well-placed blasts. first my dinobot explanation(i cant believe no one thought of this but me)
the dinobots transform into dinosaurs for two reasons
1.combat
and
2.grimlock and the other dinobots dont care if humans see them, all they came to earth for is to kick decepticon butt.
there dinosaurs forms are chosen for there combat abilities not there stealth abilities, grimlock dosnt realy care what humans think of him(much to the dismay of the autobots,im sure)plus you cant say its not plausible when you have a giant robot scorpion in the first one.
you cant tell me that explanation isnt bullet proof!
1.also,are you planning on changing the characters faces and armor cuz they look like walking garbage heaps and there faces look like such a jumble of moving parts one good punch would shatter them.frenzy really looked bad,he had no face almost and his stereo form was lost in his overly complex transformermation.and the scratchmarks on there robot forms dont appear in there vehicle forms either.
2.also,i dont want to sound like im whinning but i had a hard time telling who was who(especially the bland looking decepticons)you should use some brighter colors like red(ironhide)
3.and lastly,it would be cool if you had vehicles that looked older or more banged up,like for ironhide.he should have been an old red truck or something, but instead he lands in this rich white couples backyard and scans theyr million dollor truck and because bumblebee had to be this exspensive one of a kind concept car,he couldnt do any stunts in car mode or get banged up. |

Ironhide would look a lot more boring as an old red van than he would a massive black truck. |
im starting to think bay and company just dont like the dinobots.
and i get what your saying about ironhide, but they still could have made him red,ya know. |

In truth, the writing process was so different for each, that it's not fair to compare. On Star Trek, Alex and I wrote over a leisurely period of 6 or 7 months while we finished up Transformers and got Eagle Eye off the ground, etc...
On Transformers 2, Alex and I, and the amazing Ehren Kruger, were locked in a hotel by Michael Bay for four months -- and he would literally drop by every day to make sure we were working. He imprisoned us with room service and fluffy pillows and a view of the beach. And while it's all hilarious in retrospect, it was still a weird from of slavery.
I know. Poor me. Nothing goes my way. |

I have a few questions
1. Do and of the transformers go underwater? like in a fight scene? or like a rescue mission? (im sure you cant tell us but maboie the chances out of 10?)
2. Out of 10 the chances Starscream will say "terririse"
3. And finally, Chance of Michael Bay Joining this forum if only for 1 post? (out of 10!).
Thanks a bunch, |

that's hilarious
it's as if bay's an evil overlord
and you are used as his pawns
i mean it's horrible
but the idea of it
I dodged a bullet, but then i fell onto a landmine. |
