Here are my questions, some for fun, some about TF2-

1 Besides Transformers and anything else you've written or are writing, what other IPs would you love to work on?
2 While I understand there are some things you can't tell us for secretive reasons, is there a Transformer you would LOVE to get in for another sequel?
3 Now, I know you probably can't confirm anything, but hypothetically, if say OP and Jetfire combine and the use of the Constructicons, are those types of characters (combiners or other "gimmick" Transformers) put in the film by your hand, or does Hasbro say "Hey, we'd like people like these guys in the flick."?
4 How many Transformer stories have you gone over during the course of writing? Do you read any of the comics for the movie, or have a marathon of the cartoons?
5 Who do you think is one Transformer who just wouldn't work on the big screen?
6 Since you now know who plays who human-wise, did that alter or change your writing process?

Hi Mr. Orci!

First, I gotta thank you and Mr. Bay and the rest of the gang for giving us a very enjoyable first Transformers movie (yeh, I'm a girl alien, but I loves me some Big Effin' Robots). Definitely will be among the first in line for the sequel.

The questions: You've more or less kept the Autobots we've seen still basically recognizable as the childhood heroes I've loved. No, they're not the EXACT G1 guys and I don't expect them to be (but thank GOD you have Peter Cullen as Optimus!), but I appreciate and like the changes. Will Sideswipe be like his fellow 'bots, basically a souped up, more badass version of his G1 self? Will we be seeing his twin Sunstreaker in the new movie or its sequel? Interestingly, I read somewhere that Dreamwave comics had a unique and interesting take on the infamous G1 Lamborghini twins, especially on Sunstreaker (hint: it will probably make the fanboys froth at the mouth - bwahahahahaha). I'm wondering if you're taking inspiration from that.

Postscript question: I've seen the movie-based toys and the interesting stuff they've tagged the characters with. I know I saw an All-Spark power Optimus Prime who apparently now has additional powers because of the All-Spark shard he's keeping. Are you guys keeping the movie toy specs in mind when you're writing the script? Will you be using this Prime-as-Mighty Avatar of the All Spark in the sequel, just like his toy?  

 

Two questions:

1) Is Hugo Weaving returning to voice Megatron? I personally hope so, he was awesome in 1.

2) Has anyone ever associated you with Roberto Luongo, the unfathomably amazing goalie of the Vancouver Canucks? Cause I do..every time I see your name.

 

I have a question:

Have you considered giving either Megatron or Shockwave (if he shows up in the live-action series) howitzer alt. modes? This would be a way to stay true to these characters' raw firepower while distinguising them from the tank already used for Brawl in the first film. I'd like both of them being tanks just as much, having said that.

IF Sideswipe is in the movie (Said to be the Vette concept seen on a few of the sets) is Sunstreaker going to appear as well?

You probably can't answer this question, but I figured I would ask it anyways.

Is Devastator, the gestalt made up of 7 construction vehicles, made up of 7 separate and sentient robots, or his he just one robot that's made up of several construction vehicles that have no mind of their own?

 

Third question to add to my first two:

3) Is Steve Jablonsky set to return to score? Another one I'm hoping for a big yes on....

1.Do you know (or suggest?) if there will be another "Vote for this speaking line to be in the movie" similarly to when the first movie came out with Optimus Prime (One shall stand, etc) for TF2? (Perhaps for Starscream, etc)

2. Related, if you can remember, of the list of options in the final voting, one or two sounded like actual lines in the final cut. Was the script for Prime written in a way where any few of these lines could have been inserted, in the end? (or was the "One shall stand" line always expected to be in the film?)

Can you tell us a rough number of how many action set pieces we'll see in the 2nd movie ? (big and small action)

To begin with fair play for putting yourself in the firing line on this board.

1/ In the first film was there any reason that the classic transformation sound wasnt heard everytime there was a transformation. it seemed to appear randomly?

2/ there is a board member on here called Conceptron who is a big "Bay Basher" can you confirm or not whether this is actually Mr. Bay drumming up debate over the films for research???
