Transformers II - Looking for a few good airmen
Not sure if this has been posted yet (did a quick search, but didn't notice it). My local newspaper ran an article that I found on their website stating that they're looking for Air Force personnel to apply to have a shot at being in Transformers II. This is coming from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

Northwest Florida Daily News - Transformers II - Looking for a few good airmen

It's cool that they're offering our real military guys some background time in this. Some of our local guys (from Hurlburt Field, here in the Northwest Florida area) were in the first Transformers flick. Here's a link to that article from 2006, if anyone is interested:

I'm under the impression that when it comes to have some form of a military presence in the movies, they want the "extras" to be those who actuall serve in the military.

Still, nice that they simply ask for Air Force personnel if they'd like to a part of the movie.
