Of those names, Demolisher sounds the best IMO.

I think this may have been part of Bays misinformation thing.

In my own personal canon, Brawl is his name, Devasator is his title, or function. So he's Brawl, the devastator, kind of like Ratchet, the doctor, who could logically be called Doc by the Autobots, but that doesn't change his name.
This also works for Grapple, the hauler.

I look at it this way; people like to argue. Don't rob people of their fun. :(
I like to argue; that's one reason why I come to these threads. :)
As long as it's civil, let the arguing continue! Hurrah!

'pinned down the humans'? Oh please, even Flimzy had the humans crapping their pants towards the end of the movie before his suicide.....ugh.........
True Brawl really did hang in there longer then some of the cons; unlike the fair lady Bonecrusher for example.
I think the thing that ticked me off about Brawl was that he spent most of his time shooting at the humans (swatting at flies), and he just didn't bother going after the Autobots, who were regrouping at the time.
I mean the humans were pretty much hitting him with pop guns; Brawl could have just caved in the cafe' and then moved onto to the Autobots, who were the real threat to the mission.
