I invite you to take a look at Peterbilts while you're out driving, especially if you're in an area with a lot of truck traffic.
The flames were tame compared to what I've seen. I've spotted a fair number of custom paint jobs on Peterbilts. A small diner behind a Walgreens has a lot of Peterbilts parked at it constantly. One had a full American flas/patriotic paint job. I've seen a few Nemesis Prime trucks around, and oen that was almost Nightwatch(minus flames). And I saw one in G2 Onslaught colors- big yellow and purple ugly thing going down the road.
There's a qwide variety of Peterbilt decos out there and most any color scheme would have been viable for the movie. Be thankful they used what they did. My sales thread Feedback |

Its a matter of putting it where it belong but then again the movie is finished and so this is a worthless discussion. What the? Why am i replying to this? I don't know but seriously man let it go. |

Prime isn't a hot headed kid, he's a stern and courageous leader. The flames make him look like a badass, and traditional Prime's aren't badass, maybe Victory Lio and possibly Animated Prime, but not a Prime with Peter Cullen's voice
But I personally love the flames http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/wutevs when i earn one, you earn one |

A lot more natural. I don't think the flames scream badass. Prime's always been badass (not counting Cyb Prime) and the flames don't enhance or take away from that. XBL GT: SPLITTLIP Quote:

Camouflage is all that his vehicle mode is. Saying that flames will make prime stand out to the decepticons? Well Bumblebee is one of three Camaro's in the world.
For design purposes it allowed them to make the robot mode more interesting to look at. At the price paid for this movie I think having more than two tones for the Autobot leader makes sense.
Do we see many people arguing that Bumblebee had racing stripes? |
