A friend of mine, who shall remain nameless, wrote this brief review of the Transformers movie on Flixster... I honestly don't really see how they can think this, but I wanted to get some feedback from everyone else. Quote:
Good acting (especially on Shia Labeouf's side) and very good VFX.
Other than that, what the movie is saying is: If you are white and have a nice body, then you are a genious with high IQ who can save the world. Otherwise, you are an obese, stupid, black (or etc.) with no brains whose goofs ruins the whites lives!

It's like the author of the review got the characters mixed up

it may be unfounded but the (mis)perception is definitely there.
