Hmmn.

Just found this on DM.Net: an appearant script treatment for TF2. No idea if this is genuine, but it looks real and something similiar happened with the first movie. I hope it's real though, because the plot in this is, quite simply, KICK ASS.

50/50 chance, since this isn't the first time something like this has been leaked (there was a script by Rogers leaked very early on). Plus, they need to get the script finished FAST because of the impending strikes, so that increases the chances as well.

I can't read it (my computer can't). Can someone give me the jist of it?

I don't want to spoil anything, which is against my nature, but the script or sypnosis, or whatever it is, IT SENDS CHILL DOWN MY SPINE !!

For those who want the general premise rather then full spoilerific readings, the script focuses on 4 parties who come together at the end:
1) Starscreams faction, who are trying to capture left-over Allspark energy S7 stored on Earth
2) Megatron Loyalist, lead by Soundwave, who are after the Matrix (Yes, the MATRIX) so they can fully revive Megatron
3) Optimus and Co, and Mikalea and Hot ROd (YES! HOT ROD!)
4) Bumblebee, Sam, Sams new buddy, and Ultra Magnus (YES! ULTRA MAGNUS!)

And it all basically boils down to huge effing carnage everywhere, while setting up for number 3 (think Pirates 2 or Empire Strike Back).

This can't be legit, I mean, aren't the script-writers still in-talks? I don't think they've even signed a contract by now, let alone draft a whole script...

And if that IS real: BOOOOO for Hot Rod and Magnus, my two most hated characters...

I am really depressed by Hot Rod and Magnus, they are really crummy character to try and intergrate.

This is Spoiler free. I will only give my emotional take on the reading of the script. One word: shivering! As in GOOD! The movie is going to have AWESOME moments in it. Heroism at its finest. Done right, this movie will hopefully tug at your emotions all movie long. It has action scenes galore. Ridiculous, MIND Blowing action. Heroism, sacrifice, death, betrayal and more. TONS of old names are brought to life. This movie definitely does pay tribute to the source material, a LOT of it. It also seems to have very minimal human involvement except for the main human characters.

Reading that script gave me chills and shivers down my spine. I literally jumped out of my seat with excitement. It was that good.

The story and plot and character development are there. Its a simple plot, but simple is always best. Not too many different factions so that simplifies a lot of things. I hope they execute it well though. Voice acting will have to be key in this area. As will no shaky camera ruining the action scenes.

But the script really did rock!!!! :-D

The mom and dad are gone. The car salesman is gone. The Hackers are gone. It seems that the Army group is basically just a minor role this time (no odd webcaming with the pregnant wife back home). S7 is actually quite important to this movie, so I hope Turturro puts up a good role.
