When I saw the first pictures that showed up with all the transformers looking deformed, with scrambled egg faces, I was put off. After seeing the trailer, I was worried that, once again... the scratchy voices... "oh man, daddy, you're buying me a Porche" scene especially. So I went to see it during the week... with no expectations... except preparing for the worst. At the first fight sequence, I was amazed and start to really enjoying the movie. Enjoyed the slight interaction between Megatron and Starscream, "You failed once again..." All in all, I'm glad I was wrong. This movie rocked and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I'm worried that they're going to mess up the sequel.
Yeah i dident think that I was going to like the movie either from the pictures we saw but the most recent trailer got me really exited. Then the movie just blew me away.
That's pretty much my exact story. I didn't expect the movie to be good, so I went in just because something as big as live action Transformers was a must-see for me. I came out of the theater extremely pleased (as did my brother who also had the same mindset).
It's entertaining to say the least, and isn't bad in spite of it's many many flaws (no, I'm not talking about the designs, those are friggin' sweet). Glad you liked it!
i enjoyed watching my dvd but i can't wait to see it at the cinema. it was better than spiderman three and xmen three imho but the sequal is what i'm really waiting for
