Q.Why wasn't the death of Jazz given more weight?

A. Good point. We debated Bay about that, but the realities of production and movie length made it difficult to deal with.

Q: You said you disagreed about Jazz's death scene with Bay. There have been rumors that he is a difficult director to work with, is this why you aren't working on the sequels, or did you already have other projects to work on?

A: We have a great relationship with Bay, and it was actually a breeze to work with him THIS time.

We agreed that someone should die, but we wanted to also to make sure we
really felt the death by being more connected with Jazz to make it more meaningful.

Q: Out of all the Autobots, why did you choose Jazz to die?

A: Interestingly enough, we 3 chose him because we thought he would be the one you would least want to die after Bumblebee and Prime, whom we surely did not want to kill.

Q: Jazz I never got a chance to know so his death ment nothing to me. and Actully Ironhide, and Ratchet ment nothing to me either

A: I don't disagree. But to put it bluntly, we just didn't want to kill BB or Prime, and Jazz was next in line in terms of caring.
This really helped explain alot for us Jazz fans. I hope they do Jazz justice and give him a better death scene in the DVD.

At least somthing like Prime saying "We will rember you Jazz" and all the Autobots together saying "We Will Remember" with headsbowed.

Well, the SS issue is resolved.

Well, kinda, sorta I guess with his psuedo-no answer with "interesting rumor." Blah, I'll just stick with he didn't shoot Megs in as much as I would like to think so.

The one thing I thought was interesting is their version on how Bumblebee retrieved his speaking abilities. They say it was because (and I do remember now) Ratchet beamed some kind of laser onto him. I saw that too, but I thought he was just scanning Bumblebee or something.

And we all thought it was because of the Allspark.

Talk about some cryptic half assed answers there!

What did I learn from all the BS? The beam that Ratchet shot at BB's neck healed him. 1 new thing! Whooptee do! What a waste of time.

Nah, that was something that they originally wanted in, but dropped for some reason. Personally, I think a few CGI scenes weren't done on time. Not as in wireframes, but just not 100% realistic yet.

Barricade being Prowl would be retarded. I don't know if Starscream is going to Mars, because the Mars thing happened before the events of the movie, but could be.

3) If Megatron rips out sparks, what does he do with them? Jazz's death seemed survivable by TF standards. Now showing Megatron ripping out Jazz's spark close up and showing the reactions of the Autobots would have worked even better...

3.) I don't disagree. Money's tight!
And thus shows everything that was wrong with the film. $150 million dollars spent and making a Title characters death scene believable was considered to be "Not in the budget"

From what I recall, they actually already went over budget with 40 million, just because of the CGI rendering. I can see where he's coming from, even if it is doubtful at best.
