in the extended prime vs. bonecrusher scene, at the very beginning when prime jumps, he seem to have a bit of a gut (his "belly" bounces!  )
after seeing this for a couple hundred times, i finally understanded it!
he is in mid-transformation! (i'm kinda slow!) and this "belly" fully transforms when he lands.

He's barrelling along in vehicle mode and transforms, which is why he's moving so quickly and skidding on the concrete when he lands in bot mode.
