We already know that Peter Cullen is voicing Optimus Prime, Keith David is Barricade, and the legendary Frank Welker has lost the role of Megatron to none other than Hugo Weaving (*UHG!*). So would do YOU think should voice the other Transformers?
List all the remaining Transformers names and next to each one place who YOU think should voice that specific Transformers character and why. You can also choose to pick absolutely no one and just stick to good old sound effects!
-If you cannot think of someone at the moment then don't put anyone down. You can always edit them into your post later on.
So far here's who I would want to voice our Transformers in the upcoming film. As of right now, I'm still not sure who should voice Ratchet, Jazz, Brawl, or Bonecrusher. Tell me who YOU think should voice the remaining Transformers (that's pretty much everyone except Optimus Prime, Barricade, & Megatron). My choices are based entirely on who I think would most likely wind up in another Michael Bay film.
>>>Over time, these choices will be replaced with the final Voice Actors.<<< Autobots: Optimus Prime- Peter Cullen is *CONFIRMED*
Ratchet- ?
Jazz- Will Smith or Samuel L. Jackson.
BumbleBee- Dan Gilvezan.
WHY?: He was the original voice for BumbleBee in the Generation One Cartoons.
Ironhide- Peter Cullen.
WHY?: He voiced Ironhide in the Generation One show and he's voicing Prime now so why not? Plus Ironhide's character is supposed to be like a western cowboy type and Gen.1 Ironhide always seemed that way to me! Decepticons: Megatron- Hugo Weaving is *CONFIRMED* Barricade- Keith David is *CONFIRMED*
Starscream- Mark Hamill.
WHY?: Why not!?!
Brawl- Gene Hackman.
Bonecrusher- ?
Blackout- Peter Stomare.
WHY?: He's had a habit of reapperaing in Bay's films. He starred in 2. He was in "Armageddon" as a Russian Cosmonaut and in "Bad Boys II" as a drug dealer/club owner. He also voiced the character Mattias Nilsson in LucasArts & Pandemic Studios "Mercenaries" and is back for the role of Nilsson in the game's sequel. Stormare also voiced Count Dracula on "The Batman" animated series. Plus, he's just got a badass voice.
Skorponok- Steven Speilberg/Sound Effects.
WHY?: Steven gave his voice to the Velociraptors in Jurassic Park by making noises through an empty milk carton! It'd be nice to see Mr. Speilberg somewhere else in the film rather than just as the exec. producer. Sound effects can be just as useful if not, better.
Frenzy- Steven Speilberg/Sound Effects.
WHY?: *See above reasons.*
People keep saying Eddie Murphy for Jazz but eh...no. I think we can find someone who sounds closer to the original Jazz.
I was pondering Gene Hackman for Brawl. He has that military commander thing going like that speech he did in "Antz."
Maybe you guys could help me out and give suggestions of your own. WANTED: The Rooster Hat from Scribblenauts(Special Pre-Order item). *IF anyone's EB Games/Gamestops have leftover hats that no one picked up & can get me 2-(even if you must buy the game twice) then PM me ASAP! |

Sir Anthony Hopkins
Bruce Campbell
Put 'em where you want, but I think they could do great. Of course this may not even be the right type of movie for them. |

Plus, he's more likely to show up in a Spider-Man 3 cameo than end up voicing a giant robot. It's a great choice but I don't see any character that would fit him as of right now. Maybe in a sequel.
Hopkins....another great man with a great voice. But will he bite at the idea of Transformers? In my mind, the situation would be like Orson Welles voicing Unicron all over again...
Great choices though. I like your thinking. WANTED: The Rooster Hat from Scribblenauts(Special Pre-Order item). *IF anyone's EB Games/Gamestops have leftover hats that no one picked up & can get me 2-(even if you must buy the game twice) then PM me ASAP! |

Megatron: Hugo Weaving. Intelligent. Suavre. Calm. Psychotic.
Blackout: Robert Patrick. A soldier's soldier.
Ratchet: Alan Alda. The quintisential Doctor.
Jazz: Billy West (not his Fry or Zzap Brannigan voice).
Barricade: William Shatner, a voice you'd automatically trust.
Starscream: Jeffry Coombs. Beautifully mad.
Ironhide: George Eads. A "good ol' boi"
Bumblebee: For the one time he talks with his own voice, Dan Gilvanthingy. |

xD | Never seen that show, but I've always pictured those tones as being "safe".
So to turn him into a villian, perfect |

As for the rest of the Prison Break cast... ummm... no.
All I care about is Welker getting the part of Megatron. If that happens, they could cast Dustin Diamond to play Blackout for all I care... which might not be too far of stretch considering the so-called "talent" they've already hired to be in this movie. |
