...errr... why is it that no matter how much I try to accept these that I really just don't like them design wise. Hopefully they work well for what the movie is going to be...

These still look like concept art to me. However if they are real, then I like their bodies; they make the robots very intimidating and alien. However, what's beginning to piss me off is the faction logo designs. The faction symbols look like human-like robot faces. The faces of these concepts have few human like traits. Therefore, these faction symbols, drawn from the original ones, don't make a whole lotta sense. Sorry to be a complainer, but I've been very positive about everything up to this point.

even if they looked good, and they don't, the movie has about 5% chance of being good because of michael bay doing it.

the Megatron one doesn't look like CGI art more like concept art. they look alright, I'm not overawed at the alien take they are taking with them but it should be interesting and kinda makes sense.

Bumblebee actually looks pretty cool in that shot.
Prime ... still on the ropes about, I just don't see how he doesn't fall apart when he walks. And the Eyes are weird.
    Megs is just ugly.

The only thing I get giddy about where this movie is concerned is the reaction Bay/Murphy/Orci/Spielberg/Hasbro are all going to have when it sets the record for most successful flop of 2007. If you listen closely, you can hear the faint whistle of this thing bombing already. They're going to be in for the shock of their lives once they find out the hard way (and $250 Million later) that even the non-G1 fans still expected something half-assed recognizable, and that calling big alien bug bots Transformers doesn't necessarily make them Transformers. I can only hope there's a camera crew on Bay's face when he gets the box office numbers so that we can see it on the DVD.

Hmmm, so far out of everything we've seen I'm liking Bumblebee the most.

That's a very good (and quite hillarious) point. The faction symbols are complete nonsense given these designs. Unless they pull a neo-BSG thing on us, and go on to explain that the robots were really created by humans in the distant past. Or at least monkeys, who then went on to become humans. Something.

Prime is still the only design I find even slightly appealing, and even then it's with serious reservations. I give them some credit for trying something new, but these things just plain don't look good. :thumbdown

So far I've seen nothing that has to do with TF save the faction symbols and names. Other than those things, the bots look incredible and are impressive, but they are in no way Transformers. If the film were to be named Super Galactic Robo Fun Star 2027, I would definitely be enthused.
