So...I guess this is the Megatron we get. Lookin' less and less like those original shots of Megs were "concept art" and "rough drafts"...

Yech. It's a shame that they've chosen to stick with that design for Megatron. Boo.

Oh, you mean the damage control spin they put on it when Megatron was greeted with a resounding "WTF??" Yeah.

I don't buy that they are CGI images. The pic with BB's weapon gives it away that it seems like a digital painting if anything. And the one of Op looks exactly like the poster version we saw a while back but in reverse.

Hmmm... Is it just me, or do they look a little... flat? They don't look like "real" renders, anyway. Whatever I mean by that. There's just something a little wrong about them, that makes it seem like they're not what would go in the film. (I'm talking about the quality of the render, btw, not the aesthetic of the designs.) Perhaps someone who understands something about CG better than me'll have clue... :)

Well, I still don't know why they are not showing more pics of Megatron. Prime and BB look great. Megatron's design is still the same? I thought he was getting a few changes.

The more I see of any of these movieformers, the less and less interested I get, I'm finding less and less reason to constitute watching this movie, at this point all I can think of is to here Peter Cullen voice what is suppose to be Optimus Prime, anything beyond that is a stretch at best.

    How do they transform?

I hope this doesn't turn into the next Final Fantasy (the American made one) movie; although visually beautiful, it was so far from the original concept that it killed itself. Sure it had the name, great creativity behind it, the signature Cid character, and a great cast of voice talents, but all these hits to a fantastic series were not enough to save it. Fans rebuked it because it wasn’t Final Fantasy. I can’t help, but think Transformers is heading down that very same road:(

My biggest gripe, quite possibly others too, is that the Transformers in this movie don’t look blocky enough. I feel like we are being exposed to their endoskeletons rather than their exoskeletons; I want to see their blocky bodies that just might hinder movement—they can learn to adapt. Don’t we when faced with things we can’t do? I know how so many of you hear feel about this type of talk, so please feel free not to reply to my above comment. I’m not going to sway you my way and you aren’t going to sway me your way, so let’s just leave my rant at that.

I do find the designs interesting, and quiet frankly, I like them, a lot, but not as Transformers. They aren’t Transformers. They are something new altogether. Armada did a better job of reinventing Transformers in my opinion. They didn’t give us these gawky crude looking creatures; they gave us blocky shiny robots in disguise.

One of the joys of having a Transformer as a kid for me was seeing, and figuring out, how a part went here in robot mode, but went there in alternate mode, and also seeing how these parts functioned in both robot and alternate mode. I feel that joy is gone with these new things. I can't figure out how in the hell these mangled bots work.

I guess I need a little more time for these things to grow on me.

No surprise. These guys have been lying to our faces from day one, and will say absolutely anything to keep us convinced that we should go PAY to see their movie... even though they seem to make no secret that this movie isn't for us anyway and that the visual evidence speaks for itself.

Either this is the most elaborate (and expensive) ploy at misdirection ever in the movie business, or what we're seeing IS indeed what we're going to get.

Im sorry but they all look EXACTLY like they shouldn't. There was Megatron damage control and iyt looks like nothing has changed and I am not liking Bumblebees gascap mouth or gace or BIONICLE body and Prime should be more square in both a literal and character type sense. I look forward to the day when they show us Starscream and in comparison to the Masteerpiece toy it looks horrible.
Why take on Any humanoid characteristics at all? And if you wwere doing so to be accepted by the population then why not go farther, you know like normal faces.
    STUPID design logic.

Meh, what a mess. They look like wrinkled suits.

Oh, and the whole "these aren't final...." is what some of us like to call "obviously bullsh***ing the fans who don't like the designs." At least that's what people in my circle call it.

Looks like Prime still has the beak.

I'm still wondering where all that extra mass is going to come from in robot mode without these things looking like Morphformers. If those doors are the cab doors, they look mighty tiny compared to the rest of the robot mode.

I really wish I could like these designs and be excited about the movie like some of you more level headed cats, I mean Jesus, it's a live action Transformers movie, but I can't.

I just hope it's at least enjoyable, designs be damned.

Nobody's lying to you. That Megatron head most certainly has differences from the other one we saw; he had fangs and glowing eyes in the other work, and here he has a nice set of straight teeth and no eyes that I can make out. The body differs in that it's not sleak rounded chrome - the parts are more hard-edged and mechanical. Lastly, the color is more of a gunmetal than superchrome, and his internal parts have a copper tint to them, which breaks it up quite a bit.

Having cleared that up, please feel free to continue discussing how awesome Transformers: Heroes is going to be.

Oh my gawd, I can't believe I missed all that! It's true, that profouned volume of changes to the Megatron design has truly restored my faith in the film. I shall now have no reservations about paying $10 to see this cinematic gem! :rolleyes2

Who knows how old these photos are; maybe they've been changed subsequently, at least, I hope...

I still don't mind Bumblebee and Prime since they are still recognizable IMO; Megatron is a big problem design-wise for me... thank God for MP-05!

Those still look similiar to the concept art (but probably a bit further along). They don't really seem like finalised renders. Eitherway, still liking Bumblebee, Optimus is still pretty good, Megatron not all that great.

Not that I'm immediately predicting an outstanding success for this movie, but everytime I see a post of this nature I'm tempted to record it and post it later if the movie turns out to be successful. To bad it'd probably get me banned if I did so.

As for the pictures themselves. Eh, nothing that much different from what what we've already seen. I was hoping for more significant changes to Megatron. Hopefully these are early renders/art from before these changes were made.

I wonder what's next. I mean, when they release the new teaser trailer and then the official trailer, are they gonna try to still convince us "don't worry, what you see is just 'early' concept work!" when the backlash is just the same - if not worse - than that of the pics we keep seeing? Knowing these guys, I wouldn't be surprised.
