New Decepticon Symbol VS Classic.

I just been noticing how they changed the look of the the Decepticon Symbol.

Just look at the Eyes, and the shape.

Vs. the Classic. more mean looking

what do you think?

They did the same to the Autobot symbol, but it's less noticeable. Personally I like the modern and evil feel of the insignias. Very slick looking.

I dig the modern versions. The 'con symbol looks a lot more evil and sinister.

I honestly didn't notice a difference until now...

Bad Transfan! BAD!

I guess that means I don't really have a preference. ^_^

*Phew*

I thought I was the only one. I mean yeah when you put 'em side by side it's noticeable. But using my mind's eye I never noticed

The differences are pretty minor... I don't really mind either way.

But I really don't find the movie ones to be any more "modern" or "evil". If anything, the proportions of the new Con symbol seems to be less abstract, which makes it seem less modern to my eyes. "Evil" is pretty subjective in this case. I like the old simple eyes better.

Overall, I'm happy that the symbols were only changed this much. This is one of those classic elements that I'm glad to see they kept for the movie.

Am I that much of a freak that I immediately spotted the difference the very first time I saw the insignias?

Good find, and good way to point it out with those graphics. I'm fine with it.
