Shia Labeouf Suffers for the Transformers Movie

Quote:
Ftopel writes: "Shia LaBeouf, who plays a teen involved with giant robots in the upcoming "Transformers" movie, told Rotten Tomatoes that it wasn't all fun and games making the Michael Bay epic.

"It was like war," he said. "I've never been in that much pain in my life, emotionally, physically. It was just a hard movie to make," he said.

When press visited the "Transformers" set in August, Labeouf was all smiles and excitement about performing stunts for Bay. "Shows you what people turn on for press, huh?"

Labeouf still hasn't seen any of his scenes with the transformers added in, but he has confidence that all his suffering will pay off. "And I think it's going to be good. Who knows? I'm not involved like that. It's not a 'come visit the editing room' kind of relationship. I know that what we've shot, I've seen dailies, looks nuts but I don't know how the assemblage is going to be."

umm ok, you know what a pussy. you want to talk about pain, on Thursday in my psyhcology of women class, we were learning exactly what goes on during the birthing process and I have never heard of anything so painful in my life....

I also wanted to add he's getting paid to do his job, what is he crying about?

WELL YA KNOW WHAT THIS ONE TIME IN GEOMETRY THEY GAVE US HOMEWORK.

Honestly, c'mon guys. We've seen how Michael Bay can ruin movies that are supposed to be good. Imagine what the actors go through.

If Christopher Lee can do a light-sabre fight with Yoda in those Star Wars movies, I don't see what this kid has to complain about, I mean, come on, Lee is like 70yrs older than he is, and you don't hear him mouthing off about a few stunts, right?

Didn't take long for the Bay bashing to start *sigh*

*Reads article*

I interpret it more of him stating how the movie was harder then he thought it would be. Not of him complaining about the hard work it took.

Uh...I'm pretty sure Lee did almost none of that. As I understand it, a stunt double was used, and Lee's face was put on there using computers. Kind of like what happens with Agent Smith in the Matrix series.

Homework != the pain of pregnancy. I believe she was referring to legitimate, physical pain, not the fact that she was in a classroom. FYI.

Ruin or not, they make enough to buy 5 upper-middle class houses (or more) for responding to a scripted environment. I have little sympathy for them, but I do envy their paychecks.

EPISODE 4 IS UP! This time around, we discuss THE RISE OF THE SUPERSTAR CUSTOMIZER!
