Well considering the dog has epilepsy,
I hope he doesn't try showing her the finished product.

no kidding....instead of being quick to make the same tired 'jokes' you people have been making since 2007 why don't you try and view this as the good thing it is?

so many of you are embarrassing yourselves....

That's nice. I think. Get Cesar Millan just in case.

Well the dog can't give any worse of a performance than Megan Fox, Rosie Huntington, that girl from The Last Airbender, Sam's roommate, the rally car driver from AoE, and while I'm at it Shia LeBoeuf.

That's the problem right there. You keep telling us what to do. How we spend our money should not be your concern. And please don't act like your opinion is more valuable than anyone else's. We are all on equal ground here. If you don't want to see it fine, just don't go barking orders at the people who want to see it.

Say what you will as that is certainly your right, but I think this is WAYYY too much debate for a dog's appearance. The plot won't likely change for a dog cameo, at least I don't think...er, I hope not, lol. Whether we like it or not, I'm glad the poor pooch is getting some much deserved, and likely overdue attention, not like she could help how she was born. It is a nice sentiment, a nice gesture and, like many, I ASSUME it will be a cameo..mind you, people will look for the pups scene or scenes now, just you wait, lol.

Dogs hump each other in real life. It happens. However, the problem is that you guys keep bringing up the humping.

This is one dog that Bay has taken in and hopefully it will provide a better future for the dog instead of being in a kennel.

You don't know how things will continue, but the default response is to immediately jump to the humping. It's juvenile.

But you're judging is misplaced already. You have this preconceived notion that dogs = humping scene and that's not necessarily the case.

You're calling it crap before it even happens. You may not pay to see it, but have you seen it? If you haven't, why are you here?

Your post history is full of self-righteous attempts at insults just because you think you're opinion somehow matters. It doesn't.

You want to criticize? Fantastic. I'm behind that. But do it without the automatic assumptions that dog = humping.

As a fan of these films, I honestly forgot about the humping. It's like you guys only remember the juvenile crap and can't look beyond that. Teacher writes "penis" on the board and it's the kids in the back laughing because they can't stop repeating the word.

All this over a dog with epilepsy. Cripes. You guys really know how to ruin anything Bay does, even when he has good intentions.

And that's the problem right there. Bay's not ruining these films, you guys are.

Michael Bay is a huge dog lover, there's no way he's going to abuse it.

I mean come on, yeah Bay's not a good filmmaker but he's not a monster.

Let's try and be nice in here, alright?

No matter what made-up ulterior motives you may think true, at the end of the day a helpless animal is being cared for.

So Bay cracked the same humping dog joke twice. Get over it. Dogs hump. My spayed female Husky humps my Pug like she's getting paid for it. It's just what dogs do, and we all know Bay digs his potty humor. Who cares. Lighten up.

Think Bay is the only one? Here you go - IMDb: Top humping dogs films - a list by I-TheMan-I (side note - I do not want to ever know the degenerate who put this scary list together, but it's just to prove a point)

    Edit -

    Furthermore,

Really? Michael Bay needs good press?

Look at the numbers here - Michael Bay Movie Box Office Results, and tell me Bay needs good press. He doesn't need the approval of wannabe movie critics on youtube, or even real critics in Hollywood. He doesn't need a few thousand TF fans signing off on him putting a shot of a dog in his movie.

The dude absolutely does not care, and it's made him a billionaire.

You claim it's juvenile, MnemonicSyntax, yet this sort of thing is Bay's default humor. If not dogs humping, then Bee pissing on someone, or Brains in an underwear draw. It's what Bay does. If it's juvenile for us to keep going on about his humor, then it's juvenile for Bay to keep putting it in the films. Sure, dogs hump each other in real life, but that doesn't mean I want to see it on film. There's a reason I don't, nor want to own a dog. I'm glad Bay's giving it a home, and maybe, MAYBE he'll handle it well in the film, but you can't criticize us for bringing up the idea that Bay might do the exact sort of thing he's done for three out of four films, nor do I care whether or not he's the only one who does this sort of thing.

I'm criticizing the fact that people drone on and on about Bay's humor, when it is absolutely no different than many others'.

There are thousands of stupid, potty humor movie tropes in the majority of movies. I cannot fathom how anyone is hung up on this.

Other people doing it doesn't make it acceptable. The black person dying first is a common TV trope. Besides, I don't think I've seen any film on that list you provided, apart from ROTF. This isn't the sort of things that appears in movies I like, and as I like this franchise, I want to say the same thing about its movies.

And just because a handful of people can't let it go doesn't make it unacceptable.

But I apparently have the ability to roll my eyes, maybe chuckle a bit, and move on. It just isn't a big deal to me.

Honestly, it's not as big a deal to me as people saying I can't bring it up. My original post on the matter was one line long.

Well and I'm not meaning just you, either. I've seen literal 5k-word essays regarding Bay's humor, and the damn dog humping.

I'm criticizing the fact that you go to the default option of "oh it's Bay so it's guaranteed potty humor."

You sound like you expect a bit of class but can't be open-minded enough to even give it a chance without resorting to negative criticism.

And again, it seems like only a small select few remember the potty humor of the films. No casual movie-goer I've spoken with said they thought the potty humor parts were memorable, but instead the action or CGI was excellent. So for all we know, this dog might be doing something action oriented.

But you can't even give it that. You have to immediately jump to the juvenile.

    That's my problem.

You like the franchise and want to like the movies, but won't even give it an open-minded chance. That doesn't sound like you really want to like the movies to me, when you default to the potty humor.

And if it happens, big deal. Look past the potty humor and the movie as a whole. Don't get hung up on one aspect.

Lastly, you cannot expect to like the entire franchise completely. There will be parts you will favor over the others. If Bay's style is potty humor, then trying hard to like the movies when you know that is just going to give you preconceived notions.

    And... we've come full circle.

i'm ashamed at all the negativity surrounding spotlighting a neglected dog in order to give her a home by featuring her in a movie....you movie haters are really pathetic this time.
