A Sector 7 movie would be interesting. The formation of Sector 7 and how did they get Megatron out of the ice into Hoover Dam without being seen.

... Eh. Screenrant's not my favorite source of info much, but anyway.

Sector 7 sounds cool, providing it's the right story.

    Yes to Dinobots.

TF/G.I. Joe? ... We all still dream.

Pretty nice ideas here, I don't see why any of them can't or shouldn't be explored.

Actually, there is a comic book series about Sector 7. It's an interesting concept because it tells the story of Sector 7 spanning years, since it's formation, throughout WWII and Cold War. It also has Jetfire, who meets them at different points in time and 3 generations of Simmons family. Plus there's also a one-shot where Bonnie and Clyde's car is a Decepticon.

You know, I never read that. Is it any good? The reason is I ... gave up w/ Movie-Verse tie-ins (thank god there wasn't for AOE) after reading the forgettable 'Nefarious' by the man himself Simon Furman. Simply because I never want to know about two different Autobots called Crosshairs again. I'm not kidding. Read 'Reign Of Starscream'.

The sector 7 comics are without a doubt the most interesting on-Earth tie-in comics. Reign of Starscream is also one of my favorites, just because it gives him the characterization he, like just about all the other bots pre-DOTM, deserves.

Thanks. But again I just totally dismiss them from my mind, knowing that - especially around DOTM - that there was BARELY any synergy between IDW and the filmmakers.

It's not that I don't remember the tie-ins, I just get headaches knowing the lack of establishing a proper, cohesive, solid continuity if neither of those camps were really telling each other what and what not to put into their films/tie-ins.

I do remember enjoying reading 'Reign Of Starscream'. That's the one good memory.

It reads a lot like X-files, but with Transformers. They blended real world events and people with the alien element. It was published before DOTM, so it doesn't have any tie-ins with the Ark crash-landing on the moon, but it's a pretty decent prologue to the first movie and ROTF.

Personally, I liked Jetfire's portrayal in this comic and the glimpse into the family past of agent Simmons.

I think that when it comes to movie comics it's one of the comics worth reading.

No Constructicons spin off. :(  Well then from this list I'd choose Dinobots, War on Cybertron and Lockdown for me.

I was on board with this list all the way up to Transformers vs. G.I. Joe. Past that, not so much. I would also like to see:

    Megatron's history with The Fallen
Optimus Prime's training under Sentinel Prime
    A younger Jetfire's background

I'm gonna wish for an Optimus-centric space adventure spinoff, because TF5 clearly is not gonna be that.
