Who do you predict will be "The Last Knight" that the new title suggests? I assume (as will most) that it is Optimus Prime but I would be pleasantly surprised if it was somebody along the lines of Ultra Magnus or Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime. What do you think?

 

It's probably Optimus, but they might go with someone like Star Saber.

 

It would be interesting if it was Rodimus since I have been wondering how they would introduce him into the films without killing off Otpimus since we all know they won't go that route because of certain reasons and he pretty already had his death and revival in the second film.

 

I hope it's Optimus. I love him too much. Also @BumblebeeFan71 I don't see why the couldn't kill him off again. Instead, just make him die (in a way that could never allow him to be revived) at the end of the trilogy while doing something very impactful. For example, what happened at the end of Transformers: Prime. Not really a death, but kind of. Something similar would allow Optimus to pass off the torch while having an impactful departure/death.

 

I think it's very likely Optimus Prime.

Now why the title?

I think it's, at least in part, a reference to Prime being the last Knight Lockdown captured.

My personal guess is that the title doesn't mean the Dinobots get killed and Prime alone is alive, although that can't be ruled out. I think either 1) the Dinobots end up getting controlled by the Creators, and Prime is the last free Knight or 2) the opposite is the case, and Prime ends up captured and controlled, and he's the last Knight to actually serve the purpose of his Creators. Whoever ends up controlled, I think Galvatron will likely end up attempting to use the situation to his advantage.

This title has got me intrigued, that's for sure. I'm so glad they are continuing with stuff from AOE and not just "soft rebooting" again.

 

Yeah I know but you know Hasbro they wouldn't risk another 1986 scenario even though times have changed. Heck I even hear people still complain about Duke getting killed off in the second GI Joe film.

 

Yeah, the Dinobots get killed, probably by Optimus as Nemesis Prime, and unless they introduce Rodimus or Bumblebee gets knighted on Prime's deathbed then there's no way in hell Optimus isn't The Last Knight.

 

Well, there would be many theories.

It could be Rodimus, it could be Bumblebee.

But i was thinking, it would be kinda crazy if it winds up being Vector Prime, they would basically pull a Doctor Who and depict that Vector Prime as one of the new guys, but the twist is that he was an incarnation of the original Vector prime.

 

It's Swerve.....lol or Red Alert in all his glitchy glory. hehe

 

Well there's still a chance for Rodimus. You know how in the IDW comics they're having both Optimus and Rodimus lead their own teams, it could be possible that they could do something like that where Optimus decides to leave behind someone as a leader.

Then again it could be Bumblebee since they played around with the idea of him being a secondary leader in the fourth film when Optimus was forced to go into hiding.

 

I'm assuming it is Optimus Prime. Maybe Ultron. Galactus isn't out of the question either.

It could also be Grimlock.

 

Probably Bumblebee, he'll get a gold armour upgrade like Prime sort of got a silver one.. but didn't.

Maybe Nemesis Prime is the last Knight, not the last remaining, but one last one created by the creators, in a effort to capture Optimus?!

 

This is a perfect opportunity to introduce Rodimus, that's all I'm gonna say on the matter.

 

I'd love to see Hot Rod, but I hate the name Rodimus, and when they lost the Hot Rod name and renamed him Hot Rodimus, well.. it sounds like a porn name.  

Yeah I don't know, I'd like to see him, but if they could just revise his name!

Hmm..I'd say windblade but in kind of sad she'll get the movie arcee treatment..So rodimus or optimus prime.

 

What if the Last Knight is the "Last Knight" created by the creators? And it turns out to be Nemesis Prime? Or essentially after having taken control of Optimus, they have created the "Last knight"?
