I agree with the interviewer, I want more passion projects from Bay not stuff that comes out of a contract.

Sound like what Bay said is that the Transformers franchise wanted to do a smaller budget film but Bay begged them for one more big one and then after this there will probably be some smaller budget films for the transformers live action movie or maybe some other kind of smaller movie.

It was nice to here some Transformers news from the creator

He begged them to let him do 13 Hours.

I laughed a lil when he was talking about going from the first cut of a movie and how when you start taking things out, the intensity of the movies goes up. Good lord, AoE's first cut must have been 5 hours long. Lol.

A 90 minute Bayformers movie would likely be very good.

The movies are currently nearly double that are prime examples of why, sometimes, less is more.

Woah, for second there when I glanced at the thread title, I thought 13 hours was the TF5 running time!

Really you can chop Bayverse films down to about 3 minutes of actual transformer movie.

I like how it sounds like they will be connecting even more events in our history to random events in TF history. This hasn't worked since ROTF and is one of the weakest parts of this terrible mythos. It's beyond stupid and derivative.

It's good to see he's been able to tap into the emerging Hollywood market of incredibly exaggerated and dishonest military right wing propoganda movies. Hopefully he has found a new home where he belongs forever. I can't say I could dream up a more perfect genre for the ignorant old man.

As long as the writers room doesn't suddenly go on strike, Bay doesn't decide to change the ending they write and Hasbro continues to keep an eye on Steven and make sure he doesn't turn this into a ripoff of ET, then I'll probably find this watchable.

the writer’s room produced some cool ideas and tried to connect things together

And I am here to destroy these connections.
    -- Michael Bay

Well, it must be really hard to connect all these nonsence that Bay made.

I'm not gonna watch 13 Hours and I just want Bay to be done with TF.

TF47 - It's the one where RID Steeljaw is the main villain with Bumblebee Prime is his 22nd appearance as leader. Megatronus, who is a completely different character from ROTF's The Fallen makes a guest appearance, so does Strongarm, who's based on Animated Longarm and turns out to be the Decepticon Laserblast in disguise (who just happens to look like Shockwave).

Honestly, I'm all for redoes on characters who were wasted, like the Fallen and Shockwave.
