Reason I'm still seeing them is not because I'm obligated but because there's still a lot of things about them that appeal to me since the beginning so yeah either way I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll bring next.

I've seen and loved them all and I know I'll love this one too. I have zero regrets.

I watched the first 3 in theaters, but by the time the 4th movie rolled around I was done. All hope for ever getting a decent interpretation lost. I still haven't watched extinction and probably never will. Good for them on milking this cash cow, but I am not giving them a single cent anymore for the trash they put together.

Yeah, I'm pretty much done. Probably, definitely, for the best.

    This time, I won't be.

I was one of those who somewhat enjoyed the first film, and still find a fair bit to like about it, though it hasn't held up well for me.

Hated 2 from the outset, but I attributed much of what I found wrong with it to the writers' strike and bad production.

So I gave 3 a chance, and just saw more of the same. Nothing awful like 2, but no improvements over 1. I remember coming out of that theatre completely underwhelmed.

4 was tricky. I almost didn't go, but hearing there was more of a focus on the robots as characters swayed me. I liked Lockdown, but that was really it. Again, more of the same.

It's at this point I've come to accept that bay's TF universe will just never hit the right buttons for me, and that's outside of all the gripes I have with the characters and military complex focus.

There's no point in paying money to go see TF 5, 6, or 7; I'm pretty sure on some level I already have. The completist urge I have to watch everything, I'll do for free at some point.

I remember feeling pissed when the Bay Transformers designs started leaking to TFW and didn't like the direction the film was taking. However I still had to see it so I went to Botcon 2007 in Rhode Island to watch the early screening it was fun watching it with a bunch of fans.

I went to both 2 and 3 in theaters and by the 3rd film the wife had enough and asked why I still went to watch that if I hated it so much.

She made a good point so I didn't go opening weekend to the 4th film and waited a few weeks before I watched it on a Thursday afternoon to a mostly empty theater. I remember friends asking me what I thought of the movie after it came out and I told them I hadn't seen it yet and didn't know if I was going to. This is the first TF movie I don't own on Blu-ray and I have no intention on buying it either.

I fully planning on skipping this 5th film I have absolutely 0 desire to see this so I'm done bringing misery upon myself.

This is coming from a guy that own a TF Camaro, now that is mostly because I'm into sports cars not because I liked the movies.

With the exception of the recent two, I've enjoyed the TF series; I absolutely LOVE the designs, the CGI, action scenes, and it can even be slightly funny at times. I have no regrets in "wasting" money on the ticket.

A bad entertaining film >>>>>>>> a good boring one

At least when it comes to spending money on tickets.

If there's one thing I'm hoping for is that the toys will be a lot better. AOEs toys honestly sucked big time in terms of quality and difficulty.

If a film is boring you, it's not a good movie - subjectivity and all that but by definition a movie you consider good cannot bore you.

actually a good movie is a well shot, well written and acted movie but it cam be dull to watch.

If there are movies out there like that, I usually call them well made movies I'm don't like.
