Check it out guys! The 1992 PETERBILT Optimus Truck from the first three films will be auctioned off, as well as the 1969 Bumblebee Camaro from Age of Extinction! According to the article, the Camaro is owned By Michael Bay who has Autographed it! How cool is this?! The article also states he owns a 2010 Yellow Camaro, but does this mean a production model or is it an article error and he actually owns one of the other screen-used vehicles? I've sat in and checked out the AOE Concept Camaro and it is such a cool car. It's a 2013 SS Production model that was super-dressed up with a custom body. I bet the 69 is equally amazing. As you can tell, I'm excited like a kid because I own a 2015 Yellow Camaro. As for Optimus, I guess Paramount owns it? I know they have one of the trucks on display on their studio lot tour. I love watching Barrett-Jackson bids on tv. i'll look out for this. I wonder how much it'll end up going for?
I was pretty far off on my guess. Prime sold for 110K. Rick Hendrick buys 'Transformers' truck at Barrett-Jackson | FOX Sports
How in the world did Prime only sell for 110k? That's like what that model of truck would sell for anyway. I had no idea that this would actually be in the range for normal people. And bumblebee sold for 167k.
I was kinda suprised Prime went for so little but then I looked at how poor condition the truck actually is aside from the exterior. The interiour is pretty shotty and it wont pass emessions lol
