I think it would be a good idea to use remote Earth locations as stand-ins for alien worlds. All CGI planets won't be able to appear for very long onscreen. The scenes on Lockdown's ship were the longest we have gotten in a largely CGI environment, and even they take up only like around 10-15 minutes total give or take. All of the other CGI environments (Cybertron in DOTM, Cybertron in TF 07, The Ark in DOTM, the Nemesis in ROTF) got considerably less screen time.

Actually my expenses concern is more for creating the characters themselves. I don't remember Nebulos that well, but LV-426 was a soundstage so creating the planets themselves is not a huge challenge but knowing what the Transformers cost to animate now, even after ILM have them down to a fine art, characters like Fortress Maximus, Black Zarak and Unicron will likely remain relegated to the print and animated medium.

That said, the Headmasters is at least a new (to the movies) concept that binds Humanity and the Transformers closer together so perhaps it's still worth exploring.

Don't be so sure, it's Si-Fi so anything could happen   ..maybe the gang find a way to time travel back in time to stop cybertron's destruction but end up crashing the Ark on Earth and waking up in the 1980's :rock  ...or with Cybertron being a god, maybe he just reforms terminator style, nothing cant be un-done or fixed in the world of Si-Fi :thumb

    Yeeeees!
I'm sooooo exited for the next movie !
But there is one thing I want them to fix......the only thing........
Considering there is slight change in tfs faces I want galvatron to have more traditional "bucket head" or at least give him a helmet and they can do what they want with the face .
both the "bucket head " and the canon are what distinguish megatron/galvatron designs .not that I don't like his current design but iwould prefer the bucket head any day .

Dude, have you seen Galvatron? He is like, totally more bucket headish then Megatron was throughout the trilogy. He literally has a helmet now with horns.

Galvatron's head is the least of their worries.

Fight us now..." ....Anyway, fair enough, but you'd be surprised. I do not actually LOVE that many aspects of these films. That DOESN'T mean I don't stick up for the films sometimes.

Yes, it was better than the original movies. TF characters have personalities and not just a background character. Cade is better than Sam. I hated his daughter though. Its obvious he was there for eye-candy, just like Megan Fox and the other girl (I forget her name). Oh also Lockdown is the best Bayformers villain ever.
