as we all think of how past movies could be improved or how future ones could be done, we think of our own stories. with that comes dialogue. what is a piece of cool, interesting, funny or intense dialogue that you would love to hear spoken and by who. mine is when optimus and galvatron have their next confrontation and there is just a tense moment with standing across from each other. OP: this all ends here megatron. Gal: Its galvatron, prime. I have been reborn! i am stronger, and more powerful in everyway. i am invincible! Why is Galvatron invisible? Lines I'd like to hear: Galvatron: Stunticons! Merge for the Kill!! -- Optimus: I never liked Sam much anyway. -- Optimus: It's too bad you Decepticons die so easy, or I might get a sense of satisfaction! -- Cade: You were gonna kill that guy! Not a line but a dialog scene. Optimus: you have no control over our destiny Creators: you live because of us we own you Optimus: the all spark gave us freedom Creators: a mistake freedom is the poison of the universe Optimus: it is the only reason for life to exist Creators: what did you or the rest of your kind do with your freedom destroy the world we gave you as well as your own species. Optimus: we were doing what was right we were fighting for peace Creators: peace you destroyed a planet and ravaged another you murdered your enemy when he was offering peace. Optimus: he couldn't be trusted he had to pay for all he had done Creator: distrust, paranoid, revenge how does that translate to peace admit it you're freedom is nothing but death incarnate Optimus: no it wasn't our fault Creator: if your destiny is truly your own how can it not be your fault. He does I missed part of it it was originally supposed to say Optimus in denial when he says it's not our fault. Optimus's arc in TF5 would be him questioning if he's made a difference if his choices have actually done any good if he really is a defender of freedom. Basically he's lost faith in humanity once now he loses faith in himself this feels like the natural next step of Optimus's character arc who is the main character of the movies as the overall story is slowly but surely shifting towards him. He must discover if his actions have actually helped his conflict with the creators and especially Galvatron would show this.
If Optimus meeting the Creators is a shot for shot recreation of Simon Pegg yelling at the aliens in The World's End the whole series will have been worth it. That line actually drives me nuts because it's such a clear setup that never gets paid off.
