    Yeah, I love that stuff!

Lots of examples of that, too...all the more clearly illustrating that there IS English dialogue under there and that a lot of it IS meant to clue the Earthbound audiences into WHAT exactly they're talking about under all that "gibberish."

Frenzy's repeated "WITWICKY!" exclamations and Rampage even saying his FULL name, "SAM WITWICKY" are other great examples.

Hell, Shockwave doesn't seem to speak all too much English but the very first thing he says onscreen is still the distinctly human word "OPTIMUS!"

    THANK YOU.

One of the best aspects of these movies is their almost ENDLESS re-watch value for the sake of CONSTANTLY picking up the stuff you missed before. From the facemelting, busy-as-hell CGI to the plot points, symbolism, and fanservice, there's ALWAYS more to notice no matter HOW many times you've seen them.

The hidden dialogue is NO exception!

    DAMNED RIGHT!!!

    Hahaha, omfg...ikr???

There's some poor guy here who's yellow Camaro is cool as hell but he modded it out to say "WHATEVER!" because he THOUGHT Bee was saying "GO FUCK YOURSELF," lol. I mean, I hated to ruin it for him...but still.

    XD

Glad to hear I'm not the only one paying attention to the subtitles, btw! They are SO indespensible sometimes, especially for picking apart all the military jargon-chatter. So damned helpful.

Which isn't to say that the subtitles are infallible!

I still can't believe they fucked-up the hacker-guy talking about TROLLING so badly and nonsensically, lolfail.

Wouldn't it be cool if they had more screen time and dialogue so we didn't have to try and hear English words in their growls..

Well, it's almost entirely the Decepticons to whom this thread applies.

Personally, I really like the idea that most of them speak their native language amongst themselves and think it helps reinforce their alien origin while cleverly including obscured bits of English dialogue to still discretely give the audience a foothold on what's being said.

More screentime and dialogue is obviously ALWAYS welcome and I've been THRILLED to see both increase throughout the films over time...but I still think all THIS is really cool stuff, too!

And one of my favorite parts of the technique is that there isn't really a lot of "trying" involved. It kinda flies by unnoticed at first and then one day you're casually rewatching the movies and finally notice it all of a sudden!

    :D

I thought Mixmaster said; "You should not be here!" Right before he transforms to his gun mode.

Ok, only read the first two pages, but Bonecrusher seems to say "Op-Ti-Mus" as he transforms, then "take that Prime!" aa he punches Op, and "oh I hate ya!" As he dies.
Frenzy, according to the behind the scenes says the name "Tutanchamun" a lot, sometimes over and over, mixing up it's syllables.
When Megatron rips Jazz in half, he says " I want two PIECES" -- the pieces word is slowed way down, and I think it was recorded as one sentence, but the director decided the last word wasn't necessary. So the sound editors left it in there, only less noticeable.
Statsceam says "Locusts!" When he attacks the Osprey in Chicago.
At Petra, one of the twins says: "Spec-tacular!" at the sight of the ancient doorway.
Wonder if Sentinel says anything, when he first wakes up?
