I was thinking Grimlock character should be 'king like' with the Knight ship as his castle.

I am hoping for the Predacons/Predaking to go up against the Dinobots. Imagine a massive lion going up against a huge T-Rex.

I think the Dinobots and Wreckers should each get their own spin-off movies.

More interested in them getting a spin off movie in the TCU so they can be actual characters

Looking at it the way Michael Bay thinks, they won't make a lion the size of a T Rex

Or maybe they can give the Predacons a mythical animal look to go against the Dinosaur theme the Dinobots have like for example have Razorclaw have a Manticore alt mode and Divebomb have a Roc alt mode.

Only flaw in the fan theory is that China can never ever be the bad guys in movies anymore because studios fear either losing part of their market in China or that the government will not allow in a film that makes the communist government look bad in any way.

first off, i'd really love a reboot.. mostly so that they can change the aesthetics of the robot designs.

i loved the designs from the first three movies, they really looked great, and they translated decently into toys.. but the designs in AOE are just too different, i'm not a fan of the disappearing vehicle mode parts in robot mode.. it just looks like they're morphing rather than transforming. and even worse, hasbro majorly cutting their budget has meant we're getting more complex character designs with far less complex toys, it's not a good mix at all.

so.. i'd love a reboot with designs that are a mixture between G1 and the first three movies. designs that look convincing but aren't overly simplified or overly complex.

the dinobots in AOE really suffered from the morphing syndrome. they just looked comprised of a bunch of twisted metal. that worked okay for megatron in the first movie because it made him unique, but it really doesn't work (for me) with the dinobots.

i wish they retained more of an updated classic look with coordinating color schemes.

i know it won't happen, but it'd be nice.. i'd love the movie dinobots to look more like the fall of cybertron dinobots. focus more on the fact that they're machines rather than morphing aliens.

^^Truth be told I thought the designs for the AOE Dinobots did translate well into toys pretty well. Their robot modes are dead on to how they look on the screen (Grimlock though didn't get it as much but even then his Voyager toy did a bang up job at making the robot mode dead on.) I also like the idea of them being like knights since it helps make them stand out from the other G1 styled designs that came after G1 and it gives them character too.

I think more important for visual ques in a motion picture giving them the knight looks makes them stand out from both Autobots and the Decepticons.

Yes, they did do a fantastic job translating the designs to toys. Grimlock just needs a new figure that tweaks a few transforming areas here and there and he'd be perfect. After pouring over concept art, film screen caps, and all the figures themselves, it is possible to get that robot from that T-rex design. The voyager comes incredibly close to pulling it off, but so does the leader in certain regards. We kinda need a blending of the two to perfect it. Regardless, both his toys are still really, really, close.

If paramount were on the fence before you can guarantee they will green light a dinobot movie now, so yes. They can have it set in modern time and have the dinobot reminiscing their history interacting with prehistoric Dinos as back stories (maybe setting up history with their own nemesis)

I hope they adapt the toy colors (voyagers and deluxes) to the movie. We can't have them all be the same color and Hasbro won't sell them that way individually. Plus, the color differences wil make each one easy to distinguish when onscreen in robot mode.

Actually Strafe did have traces of blue on him and Scorn did have red rust all around him so there is some colour to some of the Dinobots at least.

I know its there, but its just a tinge of color. I just want those colors to be stronger and present on the majority of their bodies, like the toys.

Also, I would like to see them introduce the other 3 dinobots (brachio, raptor, stego) as well.
