    He's another actor I can see being a perfect fit for Magnus.

    Good choice for a voice.. but not sure for Magnus.. what about for Kup since Nimoy is no longer around

    Maybe but I imagine more gruffer voice for Kup like R. Lee Ermey, Corey Burton, R. Bruce Elliot or the late George C. Scott.

    I see him more as Kup. Peter Weller should be Magnus

    Gruffer????? You must be thinking of another Tommy Lee Jones. R. Lee Ermey is the voice I imagine for Kup when I read comics, but Tommy might just supplant it.

    Corey Burton's voice for Ratchet screams Kup more than Ratchet to me.

    Mark Hamill I can't see working.

    Garry Chalk and Richard Newman would both suffice but I'd rather have Chalk be Optimus.

    Christopher Sabat would be good if FUNimation did Transformers. Though I could also see Ed Blaylock (Fuhrer King Bradley) as Magnus.

    How about Karl Urban?

    The others mentioned are great but many of them strike me as a bit old for Magnus. Might just be me, though, I always think of him as being younger than that (Optimus' baby brother and all). Not by much, but still.

    Tommy Lee Jones was my first thought. Daniel Craig maybe. Sean bean but only if they are going to kill him off.

    Karl Urban is a unique choice.

    I've gotten used to Magnus being as old as Optimus.

    But if they want a younger sounding magnus.... Then the guy who voiced Marcus fenix in gears of war would imo be perfect
