In my opinion, seeing what the Cemetery Wind did to the Autobots and the chase to Yeager family in the whole movie, I suppose Attinger has also asked the two "Where is Optimus Prime?" and answer no, they would be killed for treason? In Attinger point of view of course. What do you think?

Lennox didn't even know for sure where the Autobots were or weren't while N.E.S.T. was still a thing, lol.

And Sam was basically settling down and swearing off further adventures while Sentinel's and Megatron's heads were still smoldering at Optimus Prime's feet!

Plus, they were both decorated war heroes...that's a little different from bumping off some quasi-hobo Texans where no one can even see it happen, y'know?

I'd say that five years later without capturing Prime, with Lockdown breathing down his neck, and dollar signs in his eyes, Attinger was just finally getting desperate enough to go for it if he had half a chance.

I'm sure Sam & Carly and Lennox & Co. are all still fine and living happily ever after.

 

That would be a huge moment that deserves screentime, so no, they are alive.

 

My belief? Lennox was reassigned, Epps, already retired, lived in peace, and Sam and Carly were brutally and horrifically tortured for information before being executed by Savoy. Mikaela and her dad "mysteriously" burnt to death in a garage fire, Judy and Ron Witwicky crashed their RV and blew up, and Wheelie?

Well, fuck Wheelie.

Srsly tho Sam is probably dead. Shia's too busy turning into Davy Crockett and motivating others to return.

Unless we see them in future movies, I'm assuming that any human ally the Autobots had in the previous trilogy is dead. Attinger was one ruthless son of a gun.

I always just figured that if we don't know about them, they were killed off-screen...or Sam and Carly just got paid so much money they just went overseas vowing never to come back.

Optimus: "But Sam...I said you were my friend-"

Sam: "Yeah, well I'm no longer a kid, I got money, I want to raise a family, and sure I glimpsed Robo-valhalla, but that means nothing to me!"

 

I can't see them killing off Sam, Carly, Lennox or Epp. They could/should recast Sam, maybe Carly and have them briefly appear in future films with Daniel. Sam and Lennox (and maybe Epp) were the main human characters. Tyrese seems to be interested in returning to the franchise.
